This spot really shines for its views. Sitting here overlooking the San Pedro marina, with boats coming and going and that calm harbor energy, is honestly the best part of the experience. It’s relaxed, classic, and feels very old-school coastal California in the best way.

Pro tip: ask for the complimentary sourdough bread and butter — it’s not automatically brought out, but they’re happy to provide it if you request it, and it’s a great way to start the meal.

The bar deserves a shout-out too. They make a perfect Manhattan — well balanced, properly stirred, and exactly what you want when you’re watching the water and slowing down for a bit.

Food is solid and dependable, the service is friendly, and the setting does most of the heavy lifting. This is the kind of place you come for the marina views, a good cocktail, and a leisurely meal, not trendy flash — and it delivers on that.

Would absolutely come back, especially for drinks at the bar during the day.

The food was outstanding. Our waiter was OK. Despite asking for no tomatoes in the scallop scampi and repeated it 3 times, I still received tomatoes. Thank goodness it was not an allergy. He also left us thirsty. I think he was allergic to refills. My husbands lamb and reduction sauce was amazing. I would of given them a 5 if the waiter gave us service.

Surprised this place didn’t have higher rating. The fried calamari and crab cakes were delicious starters, and the clam chowder and lobster bisque were rich and flavorful. The Cajun seafood linguini was amazing — definitely the favorite of the night. Shrimp scampi and potato-crusted salmon were also hits. Our server Chris was friendly and attentive, making the evening even better. Beautiful view, great service, and tasty seafood all around.

My cioppino was absolutely amazing — incredible flavor and perfectly balanced seasoning. The grilled red snapper was also excellent, topped with grilled shrimp and served with creamy mashed potatoes and savory sautéed spinach. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
The Malbec was a solid choice at $46 — it definitely did the job and paired well with the meal.
It’s just a shame we went late. It was dark, so we couldn’t really enjoy the marina view or see the boats, which I imagine would make the experience even more special. The large dining area also made it a bit noisy at times. Still, the food truly stood out and made the evening worthwhile.

We had no idea what we getting into when we were looking for a sea food place in the area. 22nd Street Landing is large and well-established, and with reason.

FOOD: Everyone’s fish was quite tasty. Heck, even my fish and chips than usual — light and crispy batter, hot steak fries. Yum.

While everyone, not surprisingly, had a fish dish, they do have reasonable-looking alternatives. I can’t promise a steak at the seafood joint will be the best, but your non-fish friends will have something they can order.

Cocktails were pretty decent, too.

SERVICE: It was a Friday night, so the place was pretty clouded. Regardless, service was slow to stop by our table, and I’m pretty sure we never got the bread sticks we were supposed to (though we got enough food that they weren’t missed that much).

The service we got was pleasant and professional.

AMBIANCE: The restaurant is on the second floor, looking out over the landing / marina, so even at night it was a very nice view. The interior of the restaurant was clean and nice.

NET-NET: I would go back again if I were in the area and wanted seafood.

My husband and I came across this restaurant while taking a walk around the marina. We stopped in for lunch. I was not too hungry, so I had the shrimp cocktail appetizer. The shrimp were very large. It was filling. My husband had the lobster bisque and sea bass. He raved about both. He suggests putting some of the lobster bisque on top of the sea bass.

The service was friendly and prompt. And the view is amazing. It is definitely worth stopping in if you are in San Pedro!

So here is my review about this place.

1- Decoration 6.5/10 The decoration is ok, but some areas need restoration.

2- The atmosphere was 6/10 when I came in it was very quiet, not a lot of people for an award winning place. No laugh or happiness. Maybe I was on the wrong day?

3- service 5/10 The host was so bad that she did like working there . If you don’t like working there, it’s OK. Just find a job, not in the customer service. It took 20 minutes before the waiter came to see me, he didn’t know that kind of drinks they had? They only thing good is that he didn’t charge me for the soupe.

4- The food 8/10 the soupe was very good but the main course that was their salmon with hashbrown was not good, the mashed potatoes was cold and some places warm? They veggies wear a bit cold also. Look at pictures

5- cleanest 7/10 it was mostly clean, but my booth had crumbled on the seats and the restroom smelled bad, with no paper in the restrooms.

I recommend but on the good day.
