Stopped by 220 Truck Stop & Cafe and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I was greeted by the nicest lady at the cafe who took my order and prepared it with care. I ordered grits, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit—and my grits came pre-buttered, which was such a thoughtful touch. They even made sure I had every condiment known to man in my bag!
I also tried the Trucker’s Platter (or Trucker’s Special) along with two waffles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was hot, fresh, and clearly made with pride. On top of that, the service was fast, which is always appreciated.
Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere—this place definitely deserves five stars. I’ll be back!

So much better when it was griffins . He really respected the drivers . Offering free showers and they even offered to wash our clothes. Now it’s just like the rest. They don’t care about anything except the money. It’s very unfortunate because it was my favorite stop. I would make sure I spent at least $150 every time I stopped just so i could show my appreciation for the way they showed theirs. Oh well. I will no longer stop and I know of over 100 other drivers aka friends of mine from the road that now they purposely make sure not to stop. Shame on you . Not that this review will make you do anything different i just hope the next truck stop that opens won’t treat their customers like cattle.

Stopped in to park roughly about 10pm. Was lucky the cafe was open until 1030pm. Ordered a philly and a bacon cheeseburger. Fryer was down, but I am glad I stopped and got food. It was hands down the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve had to date! And also a nice quiet place to get some sleep.

Read good reviews we are traveling and thought we would stop for fuel food and a quick shower! The bathrooms were dirty as anything I’ve ever seen! Clerk was so rude! 10$ for a shower? Well on to the next stop! Don’t waste your time. It’s old dirty and run down.

Seems like a fine place. I was pretty surprised that the coffee pot was empty at 8am but I’d assume there was some in the restaurant. I was charged $.50 for a card transaction under $5 which I understand, just figured I’d note it because it’s not really the norm these days. I wanted cappuccino and ice and I was able to get what I wanted. Cashier was very friendly, bathroom seemed fine, they have a pretty impressive selection of items available including maintenance and repair items, grocery items, apparel, pipes, novelties, even drug test aids. I didn’t have time to try the restaurant. The parking lot is a little rough but there’s a reasonable amount of truck parking, I was very satisfied to be able to pull in at 10pm on a Monday night and find a spot.

You need to stop here. Old school truck stop. Diamond in the rough. Food is superb, friendly staff, and free showers. A must stop.
The parking lot is rough, but we’ll worth it. I was given free pumpkin and sweet potato cake while I waited on my order. Wow. The lady who gave me the cake was like everyone’s grandma. We talked for a while, and she even gave me a hug before I left. Wonderful people. I felt at home. I will definitely be back. Grilled chicken salad in the picture. I would have put a picture of the cake, but I ate it. Gone quickly
Ps. I stopped here a week later and got a free shower with towels. Adding pictures.
Also have laundry service.

They connect with you , look for great Southern hospitality…
Food was really good, fair prices, dogs in parking lots, + across the street belong to locals….kinda taken care of like family should be….lol

This place has character… it is aged. It had more than I would ever need …but I’m not someone who needs much. The toilet was clean enough I didn’t feel like I was gonna get bit by anything LOL. I didn’t use the showers didn’t even see if they had showers…I felt like it was a safe place to park. I loved my bologna sandwich and french fries! The staff was friendly. Don’t get this way very often but I’ll keep in mind if I do again.

This place reminds me of how truck stops used to be. Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. They have a little bit of everything. I’ll definitely be putting this place in my GPS for future stops. Clean restrooms and showers. You can smell the home cooking as soon as you get out of your truck. Thank you for continuing to be the good old American truck stop that I love so much.
