21st Amendment Distillery is one of those standout local spots that immediately pulls you into its theme the moment you walk through the door. The prohibition‑era atmosphere is done exceptionally well—dim lighting, vintage décor, and a staff dressed to match the 1920s vibe give the place a stylish, elevated feel without ever becoming pretentious. It’s the kind of environment that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.
The food is phenomenal, far exceeding what you might expect from a bar‑forward establishment. I ordered one of their pizzas, and it was honestly incredible—perfectly crisp, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of dish that makes you rethink what a “bar pizza” can be.
The drinks, though, are where this place really shines. Their specialty cocktail menu is extensive and creative, with each drink crafted to fit the prohibition theme. I tried the Cat’s Pajamas, and it was outstanding—balanced, smooth, and memorable enough that I’d come back just for that alone.
The overall vibe leans social and energetic, making it a great place for a night out with friends or a date. Between the atmosphere, the food, and the top‑tier cocktails, 21st Amendment Distillery is absolutely worth a visit.

Great place! I had the espresso martini made with whiskey instead of vodka as recommended by the owner and it was AMAZING! Atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The in-house spirits are definitely something you must try! Pickle dip was DELICIOUS!

This place is a favorite of mine since my first visit over a year ago. Twice now when I’ve been in our server, Cheyenne, took it to a whole new level. She was so attentive to our crazy group during my birthday celebration and she really went above and beyond for us. I will keep coming back for the food, the drinks and the atmosphere and service. Friday, Jan 9 they also had two incredible entertainers! The singing and guitar were the perfect sound for the space. I will continue to come back to this wonderful spot!

Excellent experience! We had a Team building event for 17 people.. Keaton was great explaining in detail how to make the two cocktails. We enjoyed crafting the cosmo and old fashion. The tour with Tim was great sharing the history about the owner and 21st Amendment Distillery. The food was very good. I highly recommend! We will be back!

Great drinks and food, but most of all great staff. Very accommodating and attentive. Reserved a section for a birthday party and the staff was amazing, holding and refrigerating a cake, plus helping with setup. Nothing but good things to say!

My father and I came to this place after reading about it in a whisky magazine. We wanted to do the tour of the distillery, but the establishment wasn’t doing any due to renovations. Sad but it wasn’t over, we decided to stay and have some drinks.
To start off we arrived in the afternoon where it wasn’t crowded and the music wasn’t too loud. The music in the background was what you expect, oldies but this was Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and many greats playing. Which absolutely fit the place.
The place was very clean and the staff were wonderful.
For our flight we had samples of the 21 AD Rye, 21 Salute Bourbon, the 21 AD Commemorative Series Bourbon, and the Bourbon Cream. All four were great choices. Varied from smooth to strong to even creamy!
As for the Old Fashioned, those were smooth as they were sweet, went down well.
Since the tours weren’t available we had one of the staff take down our information in the hopes that we can dk the tour in the future, but none the less I will say that I will be coming back to try out their other drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere

Stopped in for drinks on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy but there were still seats available. I’m thinking there is a happy hour thing that only locals know about because the bar was full. They have a pretty good selection of concoctions and shots. We ordered the Old Sport and the Tipsy Pig. The Old Sport had gin and a house-made Lime Cordial. It tasted good but not spectacular. Similarly, the Tipsy Pig was supposed to be an old-fashioned but really disappointing. I asked the server to have more sweeter added, but that still didn’t fix it. I think I’m kind of over local distilleries. Typically I have a wonderful taste testing so I buy a bottle but when I get home, it doesn’t taste as good. I think we would just prefer a premium cocktail bar like Lourdes Library.

We are very excited to have 21 AD open now in Vero Beach. This establishment is very well appointed with an upscale prohibition era speakeasy vibe. This veteran owned establishment pays respect to those who served our great Republic in uniform, as well as our first responders, who put their lives on the line daily. This is a pleasant change from the casual beach vibe establishment, giving you good reason to leave the flip flops and tank tops at home and put on a nice shirt and slacks, or your Sunday best.
The spirits at 21 AD were developed with care and take center stage. I am particularly fond of their house bourbon. My wife and I lived in New Orleans and she has an affinity for a good cocktail….the old fashioned does not disappoint. I found the Boston Tea Party to be refreshing and not too boozy. They have a great selection of gin, vodka and tequila cocktails on the menu as well (all using their own spirits!), so you should be able to find something to you liking, including non-alcohol options.
I would gladly come in just for the spirits and the friendly and professional staff alone (who all are genuinely happy to take care of you) but was happily surprised by a generous and tasty food selection. The pizzas are a thin (and delicious) crust with tasty toppings. Do not be afraid of the 30s era fried bologna sliders that are lip smacking good with a tangy mustard. All-in- all we are excited to enjoy this refreshingly unique to the area establishment each and every time we enter. Be sure to arrive a bit early on the weekends as they can get busy with great live (and not too loud) music that you can enjoy with cocktail and conversation with friends and family…I salute the 21st Amendment team and wishing them great success for decades to come!

This place is a hidden gem in Vero Beach. Everything about it draws you in. The ambiance, the service, the music, the food… wonderful. Manny was an amazing server- knowledgeable, made great suggestions and really loves his job. Overall great experience, already planning to come back next week. Highly recommend the bologna sliders and the deviled eggs! The bourbons are amazing, get a flight so you can try a few!

We are visiting our son in Vero Beach, and he recommended this place highly. Wow, he was absolutely right- this place is terrific! The decor is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And the cocktail flights- wow! What a great idea- I’ve never seen that before. Each cocktail (you get to choose 4 from a list) was delicious and perfect for someone like me, who has a hard time making up my mind when everything sounds good. Great atmosphere. It’s worth the trip!
