A seriously underrated place, the burgers and fries we had were amazing….perfectly cooked, well assembled; not sloppy or greasy or small-portioned…everything was delicious and very fresh! The prices are very reasonable, surprised me actually. I expected to pay like $30/person but we were more like $18, that was a burger and fries/tots/onion rings. Atmosphere is nice too. Will definitely be back.

I used to adore 206 Burger. They once had thick burger patties (cooked medium well), and soft baked tater tots. That was up on Madison. Here at the Broadway location, their burger patties are smoothed and overcooked, bacon way overcooked and too crispy (you can break teeth on them), and tater tots are overcooked and tok crispy. I even asked that they not be overcooked, and asked them to be golden and soft. The person who took my order ignored my request. Bacon was take potato chips. Too overcooked and crunchy. The only good thing was the Malted chocolate shake. Whomever is cooking needs to go to a culinary school to learn that burgers should be made thick and juicy, and the bacon should be juicy, chewy and flavorful, and that food in general shouldn’t be ever overcooked. This, from a cook myself.

Pleasantly surprised by the burger I had here. Self-serve order at the kiosk and bus your own table. Burger came out hot and fresh, piled high with toppings. Gluten free bun available but fell apart halfway through eating. If ownership sees this- toast your gf buns before serving to improve their structural integrity. Not quite as nice a burger as when 8oz Burger was in this space but a good value and nice lunch option.

I go to school in Capitol Hill and 206 Burger has become one of mine and my classmates favorite lunch spots. The fries are always super crispy, the burgers are incredibly flavorful, the quality is extremely consistent, and the menu has a great variety so there’s something for everyone. Their gluten-free buns are some of the best I’ve ever had. The owner, Surang is so kind and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s always a great place to stop by for lunch.

$12 for a burger, fries and a drink is pretty much unheard of anymore, so thats the first major plus.
They let me sub for a veggie patty on the deal without a markup which was also greatly appreciated.
They also have those battered fries! Always happy to see those.
My partner said his beef burger was good, and I liked the veggie patty. It was a bit heavy as it was fried, but I appreciate that they have something besides the beyond/impossible.
The person running the register was nice and hospitable.

Overall, pretty solid spot. It probably wont blow your mind but you probably wont be disappointed at the value.

Really delicious veggie burger that seems to be an in house patty. Super affordable, but the bun absolutely disintegrated as I was eating it. Ended up a mess but it was tasty and cheap for the neighborhood so can’t complain.
Totally silent restaurant, great if you want to just chill quietly for a bit.

This restaurant caters to meat eaters & vegetarians. I just had what I think is the most delicious vegetarian burger I’ve ever enjoyed. The patties are are made fresh in-house and are vegan. If you need or want the sandwich vegan you let them know at ordering so they can mod. for you. (They use dairy cheese, mayo etc.) Fries where crisp and cooked in clean oil. Meal as pictured was about $13-14 with tax & tip.

The food and service are wonderful, they also had a good bar (liquor & beer) with a nice sized TV. This would be a great place to watch a game. Esp., if you want a casual atmosphere that can accommodate a mixed diet crowd.

If the menu had one or two hearty salad & burger options pre-designed to be vegan (so you don’t have to make a bunch of mods) it would be 5 stars across the board.

206 Burger is a chain that recently replaced the location of 8oz so I was excited to try it out. Only did take out from them, but will soon try their dine in option too.

The quality of the food is great. It is not on par with a typical gourmet burger, but it is very good value given the price. The ingredients are good quality and provide good taste – especially the sauces!

The fries were not my favorite, as they seem to be the typical frozen ones. Again, not on par with the previous burger resident of this location, but the price is also different!

As I said, for the price, I think the value is definitely there. Also, there’s a lot of options for the burgers they serve! Definitely going to try others – I’ve only had the Burger on the Hill; very good.

I went to this place for the first time I. Years. We used to go to the first hill location all the time. Positives first.. the food was good. The price was very high, I had to use am iPad to make my order . I wanted a glass of water but I didn’t see a single employee until i got my food. And like when I got there I just heard the dishwasher running. Was there literally only one employee to do everything ? That’s crazy. When I used to go to the 206 burger on Madison, There was a person to get my order take my order and just be an actual person in the business.
