2 Feet Brewing is a family-run brewpub in the heart of Downtown Bangor that features craft brews created by Cory Ricker, and pub fare and desserts made by his wife, Nit-Noi. Their son, Zak, manages the pub, which is open daily on Columbia Street. The signature beer at 2 Feet is the Barn Burner – a dark Saison seasoned with roasted jalapeños and ghost pepper. It’s hot, but not “in your face” spicy. We usually have a sour beer on tap and we’re making a series of Unfortunate IPAs, that just get better with each brew. We stopped in here on a whim on our way back to Surry and it definitely satiated us. It is very unassuming and gives a locals vibe. Most people were sitting outside enjoying the weather so we were one of maybe 2 parties inside. The person behind the bar was very helpful and we ordered a mead and a glass of wine. Both were good! We also ordered fries and green bean fries. Both were actually really tasty. Since this place is so small inside, they don’t have a full kitchen but they make it work! They have some dishes on the menu that make me question how in any world they get these on a plate without a full kitchen but they do it and they do it well. While we were eating, we heard multiple times how their lobster mac and cheese is they best thing they’ve ever eaten. Unfortunately, we were not there for anything involved, just a quick stop or else I would have been intrigued to try it.
I would stop back in here for a chill vibe if I’m in the area. They seem like such good people that I’d love to support.

Had desert, huge slice of a chocolate peanut butter caramel cake, fantastic, very heavy and dense, delicious. Beer on tap is limited to 3 in house brews and 3 guest taps from local Maine breweries. Beer was good.

Super low key bar with a ton of good vibes. The food was better than typical bar food, to be fair we were there awfully early. I bet they have a great spread once they are up and running. The atmosphere is very local. It’s was a fun place to enjoy a pint.

It’s like a secret neighborhood brewpub. This place makes amazing food and great desserts. Many times there are awesome vegan dishes and all the beers they’ve made are some of the best in the state of Maine or anywhere. I always have a wonderful time coming here and can’t wait to come here again. All the people that work here are so pleasant to talk to and I know you’ll have a great experience as well!

First, I love the vibe in here- very quirky and eccentric! Then the beers were great and the flavorless seltzer you can add flavor to is a great idea, even though I didn’t try it this time! And the food was incredible!! We will definitely be back!
