I think I just found my new favorite food truck. I bought a large plate with pork chops and catfish and for the sides I got fried okra and loaded fries. A true big back meal. The okra was great. It was very well seasoned and didn’t have that slimy texture that you can get on it occasionally. The loaded fries were great. Ranch, cheese, and bacon on top of seasoned crinkle cut fries? You cant get go wrong with that combo. The fried pork chops were amazing. Seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. The only issue I had with it was the breading fell off very easily. Now let’s talk about the catfish. I ordered it with the spicy lemon pepper sauce and this is a MUST. It is a dollar upcharge but totally worth it especially if they put just a tiny bit more sauce on it. The catfish was cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned. It could have used a little more seasoning to make the fish really pop but it was great as is. These folks are onto something. I’m amazed it wasn’t more busy than it was.

So I went for the first time on Friday and I can say this if you remember Sunday dinners after church at your grandma’s house then this is the spot. The portions are great for the price and everything is seasoned to perfection. I will definitely be going back.

The baked beans were fantastic some of the best I’ve ever had. the catfish was super crispy as well as the pork chops. very well seasoned I will definitely be back. everyone there was so nice and they got the food out so quickly ! 100% recommend.

First timer here… ordered a pork chop cheese fries and Mac and cheese…. Hands down this the best pork chop I’ve ever had!!!! Absolutely delicious… fries seasoned to the T and the Mac and cheese…. Aww man…. Too good! 10/10 should have gotten a large like the guy said….

Great food!
I had the 2 meat meal, both meats catfish, with potato salad and mac n cheese. The catfish is thick hearty with a delicious well seasoned batter. Potato salad was sweet and good. The mac n cheese was good, nice taste of cheddar.
Hubby got the fried pork chop and catfish, baked beans and fries. The fried chop was delicious, lightly battered, and seasoned well. Baked beans were really good. Great dinner experience, we’ll be back!

We did an impromptu soul food search & this came up. We saw the ratings & had to try it out. Well we were not disappointed. The food was made to order, very fresh & fried to perfection ( chicken & catfish) I just know they used their grandmother’s recipe for the Mac n Cheese. We will definitely be back & spread the word!

This place was great! Got loaded fries with a fried porkchop and my wife ordered buffalo wings. Everything was seasoned exceptionally well and the porkchop came out a perfect golden brown. Highly recommend you try.
