My favorite late night Korean restaurant!!! I come here so many times. This is the first time I’ve tried kimchi fried rice with cheese, omg so good
Normally I got the fried chicken garlic sauce and spicy sauce. So crispy and flavorful. The chicken gizzard with onions and chili on the hot plate was good with the drink . Rose tteokboki was so rich.
Cozy place, the owner is super. We always stay there late, sorry eonni.

Cozy place nestled in downtown beaverton. I love the fact that it represents Korean food so well by being not just spicy, red, and all kimchi like many of them are. The variety of flavors and spices is what I enjoyed while I was in Korea. The staff is friendly and takes time to engage and explain the menu.

1st Street Pocha, in my opinion, is a little hole-in-the-wall local spot that serves Korean street food-inspired dishes. I’ve brought numerous friends here, and they all have left with wonderful first impressions of the food. The service is always amazing every time I visit. The servers are friendly and kind. The food is usually consistent and rarely disappointing! My go-to order is the rose tteokbokki with ramen, corn cheese, and 10-piece soy truffle garlic wings. I’ve tried other items on their menu as well, but nothing tops these three for me. While I’ve only tried a handful of places that serve rose tteokbokki, this spot is my favorite. There’s something about the sauce—it’s a little sweet, a little savory, and a little spicy, which brings everything together perfectly! The corn cheese is simple but delicious, and sometimes I mix it with the rose tteokbokki sauce for extra flavor. When I first started going to 1st Street Pocha, they didn’t have truffle soy garlic wings, but when they added them to the menu, it caught my eye. Although the minimum order is 10 pieces, I believe every piece is worth it. The truffle soy garlic wings are packed with warmth, crispiness, and flavor. One thing to note is that they have limited seating inside; they have a handful of tables that can fit 2 or more people and a handful of tables that can fit 4 or more people. I love how they’re open pretty late as it’s pretty hard to find a place that offers good food and opens late around Portland.

Small place but the food is soo good, especially late night. The corn dogs and the corn cheese are table favorites the Korean fried chicken is so good, especially the truffle soy garlic. The spicy sweet chicken could be a little hotter, and the regular soy garlic could have more garlic, but it’s a good bite

Best tteokbokki I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot. I’ve never been able to find tteokbokki made the way I like it (they all tend to taste just like watery gochujang). I tried the truffle fries and the rose tteokbokki, and they were both very flavorful and well-seasoned. The rice cakes in the rose tteokbokki were fresh and chewy, and the bacon and sausage were delicious and a nice touch. The sauce was a good consistency—not too thick or watery. It had a slight smokiness from the meats. I personally love a bunch of green onion in my tteokbokki, so I would have loved more, but they gave a decent amount. The amount given for the price was fair; it was quite filling, even though I always eat a lot. The truffle fries are delicious as well; they have a great texture (crispy outside and fluffy inside) and are seasoned well. They come out VERY hot! I also appreciate that they give small metal dishes along with the food so you can portion it out to share or cool down. The atmosphere is casual and cozy, though it can feel a bit cramped since it is small and often busy. Expect to wait outside for a table to open up. They play K-pop music. I really like that they are open late. I will definitely come back here again. Looking forward to trying the bossam sometime. Never had it before, but it looks yummy. I came back a second time the following day for the rose tteokbokki again, and the waitress remembered me.

After reading reviews and multiple articles about this place I was pretty psyched to try it. There’s no ordering online which was a bummer. I didn’t love this place, I’ve had Korean Fried Chicken in WA and the chicken didn’t compare. The pieces were rather small and not as crunchy as I expected (maybe bc we got the order to go) flavor didn’t really pop either. The dumplings were decent, but nothing special. The Spicy Noodles were hot and greasy tasting. My favorite thing was the Korean Fried Hot Dog, reminded me of a big mozzarella stick, outside was crispy and inside was wooey gooey, hot dog was a little small, but it was the best part of the meal. Disappointed in this place, but maybe it was an off night?

You’ve really got to try the Korean Fried Chicken and Corndogs “hotdogs”. This place was the best date night we’ve had in awhile. Our waitress was warm and wonderful. We’ll absolutely be back, the only trouble is we want to try the whole menu but everything we got was TOO good. From best of the best to best: KFC, hotdogs, mandu, seasoned rice balls and spicy noodles.

I like that Pocha is not just another Korean restaurant that serve similar dishes. They have Korean street food items that are unique in the area.
Our group especially like the wings (both sauces were good), Korean style hotdog and corn cheese.
The pork in Bossam was really tender. The dish was well prepared. But since we were not used to the dish, perhaps we didn’t know how to appreciate it.
Spicy house noodle needed a little more flavor.
Ramen was tasty. At the same time, tasted very much like the korean package ramen noodle. So I could make the same at home easily.
Overall, we enjoyed the meal very much. Great ambience. We will come back to try other items.

All delicious. Best wings I have ever had. I have a sensitive stomach and they were a perfect ratio and flavour. The wait was long for dinner, but worth it! It is a very small restaurant so everything comes out quickly. Wonderful costumer service, would go back again.

Will be back. Small hole in the wall but amazing food. Amazing staff. There is a wait time because they only have 7 tables but you can find something to do near by if needed. I loved the food though. FLAVORRRR
