Head over to 19seventy at the Ovalo inside the Hilton in Arcadia, and this new spot is quickly becoming one of my favorite neighborhood gems.
The food is wonderful, the service is spot-on and friendly, and the whole experience feels fresh and thoughtful.
The menu is clever and creative, with a nice mix of classic Italian-American comfort and modern Sicilian touches—everything is well-crafted and full of flavor. We started with one of their homemade pizzas, and wow: the crust was amazing—perfectly crisp, chewy in all the right ways, and topped with super fresh ingredients that really shone through. It felt like true artisan pizza without any pretension.
The highlight, though, was the Short Rib & Pappardelle. This dish is meant for two and served table-side with real flair—the chef tosses the housemade pappardelle right there in a Parmesan wheel and the braised short rib is melt-in-your-mouth tender. The flavors are bold yet balanced: rich, savory, with that fresh pasta texture that’s tender and al dente. Generous portions too—we had plenty left over to enjoy the next day.
Everything tasted truly fresh and delicious, from the pasta pairings to the overall execution. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed, perfect for a date night, celebration, or just a really good meal out. Attentive service without being over-the-top made it even better.

We had a lovely dinner at 19Seventy tonight! My husband and I both ordered the Salmon Piccata and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, bright, and flavorful. Since the restaurant is newly opened, everything feels fresh, clean, and beautifully designed.
There was only one other table of diners while we were there, so the service was incredibly attentive in the best way. It felt calm, relaxing, and like a little hidden gem inside the new Hilton.
One funny note — the music seemed to skip abruptly between songs, almost like someone kept tapping the “next” button. Not a complaint at all, just something we found amusing!
Overall, a great low-key but elevated dinner spot. We’ll definitely be back as they settle in and get busier. Highly recommend the Salmon Piccata!

10/10 experience. I had the cheesecake served with pistachio sorbet and a berry purée, topped with fresh berries—hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. The texture was incredibly smooth and almost butter-like, reminiscent of whipped cream or crème brûlée. Perfectly balanced, not overly sweet—just right.
The Pinot Noir paired beautifully and elevated the dessert even more.

This place is gorgeous! It’s quiet and a nice gem in Arcadia. Service was attentive. Before dinner go to the bar and see Britney she made the experience fun! Plus her bubble cocktail was a real treat! Not only freshly made drinks, with high end ingredients but a show. Very unique for Arcadia. Fun place to grab a cocktail. Bar in lobby is the best!

This was by far was the best dish we tried. The tomato sauce was perfect. Not spicy or sweet but a wonderful fresh combination that you couldn’t stop dipping your fork into. The dish worked well together and blended well together! It’s a must try!
Pizza white sauce – Skip
The pizza could have been 5 stars but fell short. The crust was perfect and full of wood-fire flavor. It was chewy in all the right ways. The arugula was fresh and the prosciutto was of high quality. The problem was the Béchamel cheese sauce was awful. It tasted bad and was put on so thick it ruined the dish. We couldn’t eat the pizza and it hard in my world to ruin pizza. So stick to their red sauce pizza’s! Want to try one of those.
Fettuccine Alfredo- Skip
Im always looking for a good fettuccine in the area and it’s hard to find. This one was okay but not nothing short of average. The noodles were homemade and delicious. The problem was the white sauce had no flavor. I would have given anything for some Parmesan cheese to be add on top . It was just noodles with no flavor. Like almost noodles with just heavy cream on them but nothing else. Where is the cheese flavor? I would skip this dish.
Pistachio Dessert- Give this a try!
This was delicious! It’s all my favorite things in a cup. Ice cream, expresso, and pistachios! My only recommendation is switch to a high end ice cream and you would have something really special. The ice cream was cheap but the concept was incredible. I hope they can get better quality ice cream in the future.

Zero stars avoid this place at all cost. Ruined our New Year’s Eve dinner. Had reservation for 7pm sat us in the bar and didn’t get any service until 1 hour later. My steak was cold my potatoes were cold not cooked to temperature. Another guest they forgot appetizer, and main meal for another guest. Complete chaos. Do not come here
