The atmosphere was amazing ! The food was delicious ! The service was great! While the menu seemed limited, the food was absolutely delicious and prepared well with nice presentation. I am aware this place recently opened so im hopeful they will expand the menu some. I would suggest you go try this place out! I absolutely loved it and next time im passing through I will definitely stop back in for some more delicious food and a cold Corona!

As a Texas native who travels for a living, I can tell you that this place is AMAZING. The food is on point with taste and portions. I had the lunch special #1 which is a chile relleno, taco, beans and guac salad. Hubs had the jumbo burrito with some jalapeños and we shared a street corn. If you ever find yourself in the area and love Mexican food, I HIGHLY recommend 1942. The staff is super friendly as well.

Best fajitas I’ve ever had. Seriously. The chicken is lean and cut into small pieces. The veggies are grilled to perfection. The salsa was chilled and fresh.
The guacamole was fresh. Only slight drawback was the rice was a bit over cooked / mushy.
Location is convenient — just off the interstate. I stopped for dinner here to avoid rush hour traffic in Cincinnati. So glad I did. I’ll definitely be back.

As someone who grew up in Arizona and has been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food in Ohio, I was completely blown away by this hidden gem at the Destination Outlets. This is, hands down, the closest thing to real Mexican food I’ve had since leaving Arizona.
From the first bite, I could tell this place takes pride in getting it right. The flavors were bold, fresh, and genuinely reminded me of the meals I used to enjoy back home. Whether it’s the perfectly seasoned meats, the fresh tortillas, or the house-made salsas, everything tasted like it was made with care and tradition.
