1942 Mexican Restaurant in Naples is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a fun night out or a relaxed dinner. One of the highlights was the margarita flight, such a great way to try a variety of flavors, and every one was excellent. The food was just as impressive, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. From start to finish, the service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Naples and craving great Mexican food with an energetic vibe, 1942 is definitely worth a visit. Showing that we destroyed our food, wish I would have taken the pictures before we ate.

Absolutely FANTASTIC dining experience!! So much flavor!!! Margaritas were amazing (quite a serving). Had a tequila chicken bowl and the carne asada tacos, both were incredible. For dessert the fruity pebbles fried ice cream (WOW)! Service was top notch as well. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was stunning—beautiful décor, vibrant colors, and such a warm, welcoming vibe. The service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make the experience special. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it fun and memorable, turning it into a true celebration rather than just a dinner. The energy, the ambiance, and the attention to detail all came together perfectly. This is the kind of restaurant you go to for great food and a great experience. Fajita quesadillas, chimichangas and margarita flight were incredible. Can’t wait to come back! ✨

Service and decor and overall vibes are great… however, the food is so incredibly bland! We did the floutas as an app which come with “steak”, chicken, and shrimp. The steak is 100% pre slice steak-ums style steak, the chicken felt like it was bought pre shredded. They were fine but lacked flavor.
Then our entrees come out, I get chicken chimichanga and my wife gets Birria pizza. One of the worst chimichangas I’ve ever had. Tortillas weren’t fried all the way through, felt more instead they were just covered in their cheese sauce and put in a microwave. Again full of the bland chicken. Refried beans on the side were flavorless. Like not even a little pepper or salt. Wife said her birria pizza was “okay and a solid 5/10”.
You get Mexican food for the explosion of flavors and spices. This is the only Mexican place I’ve been to that lacked that. Feels like this is a Tacos & Tequila trying to be “authenticate” but failing in every way possible. It will be a one and done place for us. The food looked great coming out but looks can be deceiving. Staff was great, attentive and kind.

My son and I were looking for some lunch this afternoon and he found this restaurant online. As soon as we got there someone came up to us and sat us down with a basket of chips and salsa, which was banging. The staff were very nice and the food was delicious, we couldn’t make up our mind on what to get. He got the carnitas en chile verde and I got the taco flight and it was a 11 out of 10. Priced very fair for the amount of food they serve you.

Finally, an excellent Mexican restaurant in the Naples/Bonita Springs area. We’ve lived here for several years, and have missed the Mexican food, we were able to get so easily in Texas and California; and trust me we’ve tried practically every restaurant in the area.
We ordered the Tacos de Arrachera with rice and the Tacos a Pastor with beans. Everything was excellent. The meat was flavorful and tender, it had all the garnish you would expect in an authentic Mexican restaurant.
The portions were very generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The hostess was friendly when we arrived and gave us the option of sitting inside, in an air-conditioned patio or outside by the pond. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful evening and the setting is just lovely. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. And we particularly liked the old school instrumental music that was playing outside.
We will definitely be back and try other things on the menu, which looked to be very extensive. I highly recommend this lovely new restaurant.

Fist time here and it was fabulous. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. Best Mexican I’ve had in the area. They have a nice patio that I would like to try when it’s a little warmer. It was definitely very busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table.

Excellent newer Mexican spot has a very large outdoor seating area.
I had the taco flight both times I visited, and it was spot on.
Some places have a hard time not serving dried out grilled chicken, but the grilled chicken tacos as part of the taco flights were juicy and delicious.
Grab a table outside, and a cold beverage and enjoy.

We enjoyed a very good first experience at 1942. Arriving at 5:30pm, the restaurant was already busy, and by the time we left it was quite full. Still comfortable enough for conversation, and the service level was maintained. Complementary chips and salsa varieties were tasty, and our meals arrived hot. Everything tasted great – it will be our new go to taco/mexican spot in town.

The new1942 is the Best Mexican Restaurant in Naples.
They have a fantastic staff.
Poncho, Carlos, and Jose,
are the best they handle the bar. They have great personalities and make the most delicious drinks. The peach margaritas is the best.
The food is also excellent stars for the chiefs. It doesn’t matter if it’s the tacos, steak, salad, or delicious Chimi Flautos.
I can’t say enough good about this Mexican Restaurant
I can wait for all our Winter friends to come back and get to try it. Because it’s the most FUN place to be.
