Came here just before closing and got 3 chicken empanadas; they were small but delicious. Also got the coconut pie and a chocolate mousse dessert. Both were very good. It was pretty pricey though and just under $30 and one of the desserts was half off because it was so late. The girl at the counter was very nice. The inside is sterile but comfortable. I’ll probably be back but will definitely hunt for the late evening half off specials.

I was wanting to come here for a while. They didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was great. Everyone was nice coming in , during and waved us good bye while leaving .!
We bought some pastries to go because you can’t just come eat and leave empty handed. We also had to have the Cuban ☕️ coffee ☕️
Thank you Cuban bistro for today !!
I came back and had the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had in my life omg this is so good.

What a local gem! I purchased a kids chicken and rice meal and an Elena Ruth sandwich. Both were full of flavor and fresh. Can’t wait to try other items! They also have empanadas and croquettes freshly prepared for quick pick up. Great little cafe to dine in. Food comes out freshly made but doesn’t take too long to be delivered. Definitely worth a visit!

Today was our first day visiting 1928 Cuban Bistro! Needless to say, it won’t be our last. We started with the iced coquito latte which I couldn’t recommend more; the spices and caramel were perfect for the season. In addition, we bought 3 empanadas; Cuban, chicken, and beef. All were seasoned wonderfully, but the Cuban empanada specifically was such an incredible mashup. The cherry on top of the whole experience was the wonderful service provided by Dayana C as well as the inviting atmosphere. If you live in the area, or even if you’re just passing through, you MUST stop by!!

oHMyGosh!!! Best Tres Leches and Flan ever in my life, and I am from N.Miami/Hialeah/Ft. Lauderdale area. Good Café con leche, too. I felt like I was in Miami for 3 mins while I awaited all of my goodies. I do not write many reviews, but I could not help myself on this place. Amazing!!! Thank you for doing it right!!!

First time at 1928 Cuban Bistro. I was not impressed. The atmosphere is bland, but it is very clean inside. I had a Cuban sandwich. Average. My girl friend had rice and black beans. She liked them, I tasted them. Again, average. I won’t recommend nor will I say don’t go. It just didn’t work for me. The two young ladies working were very friendly and helpful.

Everything we had was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We tried some of their favorites. The pastries and empanadas were so good, and the sandwiches were fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

Oh. My. God.
I’m grateful this place is far from my apartment because otherwise I’d have to pay the restaurant rent for how often I’d be here.
I got the mojo turkey pesto sandwich and the boyfriend got the medianoche. We traded half of each’s sandwich before sampling and I’m glad we did. I *might* not have given up my sandwich otherwise and I’m glad I did.

We went back and forth but couldn’t decide which sandwich was better. They were both PHENOMENAL. Seriously amazing.

We also tried the Latin Soda: he got a jupina (pineapple) and I got iron beer (described as a fruity Dr Pepper and that’s… Mostly accurate?). They were also delicious, but do yourself a solid and don’t look at the nutritional content.

If you are anywhere near this place, GO. And if, like me, you’re not…. Go anyway. We won’t be back often (it’s 25 miles away) but we will definitely be back. Until then I’ll be dreaming of those sandwiches.
