During my recent visit to the 1910 Wine Nest with a family member, I quickly discovered why this spot ranks as one of her favorite wineries in the Fayetteville/Raeford area. Tucked away on Flagstone Lane, this small yet charming establishment offers an intimate and memorable wine-tasting experience.
Upon arrival, I almost mistook the front door for being locked the door itself is slightly out of alignment and requires a very firm pull to open. Once inside, however, the owner greeted us warmly and, since we were the only customers at the time, gave us a personal tour of the winery. This was a pleasant surprise.
He started by showing us the wine room, which features a diverse selection of wines ranging from dry to sweet. I appreciated the explanation behind the various offerings before returning to sample the three wines we eventually purchased:
Chateau Riesling Sweet Bottle – $22.00
Watermelon Sparkletini – $20.00 (best)
2 Canos Strawberry Coconut – $19.99
Afterward, he guided us to the back of the building a dedicated room for cigar lovers. This area offers premium cigars and a relaxing environment where guests can enjoy a smoke without disturbing others.
We eventually settled in the front area, sampled our wines, and enjoyed our meal (which we brought with us and was permitted). While we sat, the place began to fill with patrons, creating a lively yet cozy atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed watching college football on the screen, which added to the casual and welcoming vibe of the winery. What stood out most:
1. Friendly and knowledgeable owner.
2. Unique variety of wines, including sweet flavor options.
3. Relaxed environment with seating and entertainment.
4. Dedicated cigar room rare for a winery.
5. A place that feels like a hidden gem.
The front door definitely needs attention; first impressions matter, and it can be mistaken as locked.
Overall, 1910 Wine Nest is a unique, small-scale winery with character, charm, and a comfortable atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will absolutely return the next time I’m in town.
Highly recommended for wine lovers looking for something local, intimate, and different.

I use this space for my DND Open Mic, and every single month they show up with professionalism, warmth, and genuine support for the arts. The atmosphere is perfect—intimate enough for poetry and storytelling, but still vibrant, classy, and full of energy. The staff is always friendly, quick, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure the experience feels special for both performers and guests. The layout, lighting, and overall vibe make it easy for artists to connect with the audience, and the venue consistently helps our shows feel elevated and intentional. Guests always compliment the wine selection, the comfort of the space, and the welcoming environment. If you’re an artist looking for a venue, or someone who just wants to experience a unique night out with great wine and great art, 1910 Wine Nest is truly a gem. Fayetteville needs more places like this.

1910 Wine Nest is honestly one of my favorite spots in town. The vibe is so warm and inviting perfect whether you’re catching up with friends or just taking some time to relax on your own. You can buy wine by the bottle or by the glass . Their private cigar room is TOP TIER. They have events throughout the week. I stopped in here the day before Mother’s Day trying to buy a nice bottle of wine. I ended up buying the “most recommended” bottle which was $36. Thought I’d treat myself. I found the SAME BOTTLE for $12 at Harris Teeter on Mothers Day. Its normal price was $16. This place charges way more than any of the bottles are worth and you can get them cheaper else where.
Don’t waste your money. Just go to the grocery and get it way cheaper.

Had an amazing time at my cousin’s graduation party at 1910 Wine Nest! The space was intimate, cozy, and welcoming—just right for a private celebration. The owners were absolutely wonderful—attentive, kind, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The vibe, service, and overall experience were top-notch. Highly recommend for any special occasion or a chill night out!
