The food was outstanding. I ordered the crab cake, and it was absolutely delicious—loaded with crab and hardly any filler, which really let the flavor shine. The fries were amazing as well: crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. My wife had the jerk chicken sandwich and was highly impressed; it was flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented.
Danny, the owner, was very personable and made a point to ensure we were well taken care of, which added a personal touch to the experience. We also noticed a high level of attention to detail while providing excellent service to all guests, not just our table—something that truly sets this restaurant apart.
An added bonus: if you’re seated in the upstairs enclosed patio area, you’re treated to a phenomenal view of the downtown square, which really enhances the overall dining experience.
Overall, I would give five stars for hospitality, food presentation, taste, and value. If you’re ever in downtown Dahlonega, 19 Degrees North Seafood Grill is a place you absolutely need to visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Congratulations on your 98 GDPH inspection. What a difference the new owner has made in this establishment.
The food we received was well prepared, proper temperature, and professionally plated. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing. The establishment is well maintained for a vintage courthouse square structure. The restroom was well maintained with foaming soap dispenser and paper hand towels. Lunch at its best in the NGA Mountains.

We ate outside on the porch since the weather was so pleasant. What a wonderful memorable dining experience. We will be back soon to try the variety of fare on a menu and food so well prepared.
Thank you,

My husband got the crab cake sandwich and I did the Shrimp and pork belly carbonara and if it weren’t so filling I would have eaten the entire thing right then and there.
We did wait a little long for the food, but the owner and our waiter explained that the kitchen was somewhat short staffed and made sure we were comfortable.
We will definitely be back when we venture to Dahlonega again! Hopefully sooner than later
My Pork Tomahawk chop sat on a bed of creamy blue cheese laced grits and tender collard greens which had been cooked with ham. The chop was smothered with a chunky sauce that reminded me of caponata. Overall, the preparation was perfect.
The “apple pie” cider I paired it with was a stroke of (my) genius.
My wife had the grilled haddock with hush puppies and green beans. Another winner.
We also ordered a side of truffle fries. Hot and crisp with truffle dust and a generous coating of Parmesan cheese. Admittedly an excessive indulgence but they will revive in the air fryer!
The server was working flat out but was professional, friendly and committed to making our visit a pleasure.
We started with the raw oysters and calamari, and the banana pepper rings added a perfect pop of flavor. For our entrée, we shared the seafood platter featuring haddock, blackened scallops, and shrimp—each bite was delicious.
To top it all off, Dan personally walked us out as we were leaving. This is the kind of customer service every restaurant should strive for. Can’t wait to return!
