I was on vacation with my family at Virginia Beach when I found this place on google maps. We had planned on going to a different pizza spot but they happened to be closed that evening. I’m honestly glad they were because the food here was amazing and the service was great! My mom was a little skeptical going in because it may not look like much from the outside,but the food blew everyone’s expectations out of the water. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the supreme pizza,and I had the italian style salad. I have never had a salad at any restaurant that had vegetables that fresh. It was incredible. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza or salad! Not to mention the mozzarella sticks. I didn’t get to try their pasta but it gives me an excuse to come back someday!

Wow! 19 Italian Bistro is an absolute hidden gem, and I can confidently give it a five-star rating! From the moment we walked in, we knew we had found something special.
The food was beyond exceptional. Both the cheese and meat ravioli were fantastic – perfectly cooked pasta with rich, flavorful fillings. My mother-in-law raved about her spaghetti and meatballs, declaring it absolutely delicious, and I can attest it looked incredibly appetizing. For me, the chicken marsala was the star of the show. It was, without a doubt, possibly the best I’ve ever had – tender chicken, a perfectly balanced sauce, and incredibly satisfying.
Every dish we tried screamed authentic Italian food. It felt like a culinary trip to Italy right here in [City – you can add the city if you’d like!]. The quality of ingredients and the skill in preparation were evident in every bite.

I ordered for the first time this evening. My daughter had the penna w vodka sauce and bread, I has the garlic broccoli and wings. I had ordered a couple of meat balls but they called and asked if they could switch to chicken instead as they were out. No sweat
I went to pick up the order and when I walked in there was one family sitting there and 3-4 tables that hasn’t been cleaned. It was a little disconcerting, if I had stuck my head in the door and seen that I probably wouldn’t have gone in to order .
The guys that got my order together and made sure I had plastic ware were very pleasant.
When I got back to our hotel I told my daughter let’s just hope for the best. Everything was packed really well and still hot. She thought her pasta and bread were good, really good. Granted, I went out on a limb w the garlic broccoli, it was done really well, there was so much I couldn’t finish it all. I got to the wings, we were both curious, I opened the container and they were wrapped in foil w two containers of ranch and still piping hot. They were good too, I mean not the best wings I’ve ever had, BUT for a Thurs nite at an Italian place, is give them all easy 7.75 and there were a bunch of them. I left a couple, my daughter got through half of her penne, I tried it and it was really good. If forgotten about the meatball replaced w chicken. We had to try it. It was fine too. Off recommend getting the chicken on the pasta aouli. I’m certainly happy w our meal, and based on my concerns when I walked in to pick up my order, they were unfounded and the meal was great. The guys in the kitchen really seem to care about what they’re putting out. THANKS

So yummy! Small place and not crowded at all. So happy that we choose to eat here! Chicken piccata and parmigiana were amazing. We also got the cheese pizza but my kid destroyed it so quick. I tried it and it was awesome also.

Well, well, well….Where has this place be hiding?. Ok well, you must go here! The food is amazing and a lot of it! You’ll see in the pics small garden salad…ummm….not really small and very good. The Hood got the Italiano steak hoagie…Amazing! The rest of my regulators got chicken parm and chicken piccata all amazing! Hot! Yes that is how the food came out very hot we gave it a little before eating. I know food should come out hot but we all know that’s not the case all the time . Prices are very good in my opinion so I highly recommend this place to get some dinner or lunch when visiting Virginia Beach. I recommend it to the locals if you haven’t tried it! May your food be hot (unless it should be cold) and your drinks cold (unless they should be hot) Stay positive my friends and follow “The Hood”

We went on Friday, Jan. 5. It is a small place, but it was not crowded. All employees were busy at the moment, so we grabbed menus off the counter and seated ourselves… but someone arrived in short order to, well, take our order: 2 small Greek salads, meat ravioli, and sausage, peppers and onions with penne pasta.
Our salads arrived first, and I thought that a mistake had been made – they were *big*, and loaded with romaine, tomato, green pepper and cucumber chunks, rings of red onion, cubes of fresh feta cheese, and several unpitted calamata olives. The dressing was spot-on, and the salads were tossed with just the right amount.
I got through perhaps half of my salad when the mains arrived: the ravioli were cooked just right, and they were served with a very generous amount of delicious, chunky marinara. The sausage came thinly sliced and sautéed with lots of green peppers and onions, mixed with a large quantity of penne in marinara, then coated with mozzarella and baked until melted – it was *prime*, and I had to take half of it home after eating the “small” Greek salad.
Of course it all came with bread, still warm from where it had been stuck in a roaster for a few minutes, necessary (and perfect) for sopping up the extra sauce.
I don’t know if dessert was available, because we were so full that we didn’t / couldn’t even think about it. Suffice it to say that if we return to the area, we will eat here again.
