What can I say about the 1892.
I’ve kinda avoided the 100 Block in my older years but this place is special. The N/A options are great. The food is awesome. I especially liked the Fried Pickles. And I keep coming back because of the staff. Karmen and Taylor are the best. Always make me feel welcome.
Now the odd thing is I do not follow football but something began here that I think I know who is going to win the Super Bowl. And the team had won everytime I have visited. We shall see. Those who know me know who it is. And I’ll be here for every game along the way.

1892 is the best sports bar and really the only place I like to watch sports other than my house. Pool table and darts and good company. Jeremy the owner is a class act and very accommodating to the patrons of the bar. I’ve hosted baby showers and birthday parties at 1892 and it’s always been a success! You like to watch soccer at 7AM in morning? Well 1892 will be open so you can cheer on your favorite team! Go Nottingham Forest!

My only complaint as a woman, please buy 2 coat hooks and put them on one of the solid doors in each of the stalls. There’s no place to put your purse and I don’t want to put mine on the floor.

So much potential – good location, cool brick building. Was greeted by the friendly bar dog. Bartender was friendly too… but maybe it’s changed since a reviewer (about a year ago) wrote “great craft beer selection”. They had an IPA, a German bock, and maybe a cider or something. Other than that – standard domestic light beer lineup. I get it if you’re a dive bar, but such a great location deserves better beer selection.

Stop in here for some ale atleast a couple times a month if not more. They have a great selection of craft beers. The food is also great. The 100 Block area of Council Bluffs is the go to party spot for locals if you are passing through on vacation.
