Upscale Casual Dining, Comfortable Seating, Reasonably Priced Delicious Food! Shoutout to Our Waitress Greysen who went above and beyond to help us make our selections and Our Date Night experience memorable!! I had the Grilled Pork Chop ( seared to perfection!) and Lisa had the Ribeye Steak which was Mouthwatering!! We ordered The Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream ( 2 spoons) for dessert! We will be back to try another selection from the menu!

Parking wasn’t a problem. The atmosphere was quaint and the level of noise was quiet enough to have a conversation where we could easily hear each other talking throughout dinner. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, and the soup was excellent. Note: the large salad is very large, but delicious and fresh. The Southern-style cream corn was not too heavy, and the feta-scallion mashed potatoes complemented the entrée perfectly. Our waitress, Kenedy, checked on us frequently throughout the meal to ensure we were satisfied. All in all, it was an extremely enjoyable experience at a reasonable cost and fully aligned with our expectations.

Food was delicious. We ordered the ribeye steaks with loaded baked potatoes. The staff were friendly. The only thing we would mention, is to keep more of the A1 Sauce in stock. Ribeye was well seasoned but some ppl just love the sauce with their steaks. But overall, very delicious!

From the moment we walked in, the service was on point friendly, fast, and with real smiles, not fake ones.
We started with the Mac & Cheese Balls, and man, they caught me off guard. I’m not a mac & cheese person, but these are different crispy outside, creamy inside, more like croquettes. Definitely a must-try.
Now the steak cuts… that’s where they nailed it . Real grill flavor smoky, juicy, that kind of taste that takes you back to when you fire up the charcoal at home. It’s been years since I had meat that good.
The Cajun Chicken didn’t quite make the cut not bad, just lacking that spark. And for the drinks, presentation was solid but the flavor didn’t match the look. Pretty, but not memorable.
Overall, good vibes, great service, and real potential. With a few tweaks, this could easily be a 5-star spot.
For now, a well-deserved 4/5⭐️, and I’ll definitely be back to see how they level up.

Excellent server, and service. Food was a step above. Recommend for groups, Kennesaw location. Know that parking is limited, you may have to parking the street parking, but someone told me under the tunnel leads to more parking behind the restaurant. Service A++. Food A++. Even the greeters were excellent in wanting to give to-go bags, and help.

My girlfriend and I pride ourselves on cooking great food ourselves. We are in our fifties and adventurous eaters.
We were stunned at how good this dish is. Literally the best thing either of us has ever tasted.
Just wow.
PS. If you get buffalo shrimp tacos, squeeze a lemon wedge over them. Quite good. Fried okra looked in house prepared and also quite good.

I ate here for the first time last week and it only made sense for my man and I had to come back for Valentine’s Day, which the restaurant was decorated for! The food here is so good. I cannot stop thinking about it and I’m already planning my next visit!
We had such a good experience with Savannah P as our waitress, nothing but smiles, Good knowledge about many items and immaculate service!
The manager, Cheyenne stopped by our table, and she was so incredibly pleasant and genuine! Really made us feel welcome and make sure we were having a great time!
The atmosphere is so comfortable, the playlist had us singing little songs all throughout dinner and the food will make you wish that you never got full so that you can just keep enjoying all the intricate flavors! I highly recommend this restaurant. If I can give it 100 stars I would!

I had a lovely time at 1885 grill in Kennesaw. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely top notch. Our server Kels, was amazing! She was very attentive and super friendly. The manager, Savannah, came around and thanked us for coming in and told us the history of the restaurant. She was so welcoming and warm. We will definitely return!

14 year anniversary, had plans to make a drive to our “special” restaurant but decided to stay local. First time at 1885, better experience than we would have recieved from our goto special spot. First off, Anna was a great host and server! Kitchen also
KILLED IT! Great filet for the wife and ribeye for myself, cooked as asked. Anne made recommendations and knew what she was talking about from appetizer to dessert! No need to drive anymore, our goto just become local!

Wow! Honestly the food is fantastic and the staff alone will make you want to come back every time you think of food. The oysters, the cheesecake, the shrimp and grits just the crazy jokes makes it a wonderful place. I really like to keep for myself, but I’m gonna be nice and let you know it’s all here at the 1885 right smack in the middle who would’ve thought.!
Les, the Assistant Manager and Webster the server will make you feel at home. We got back in town from international travel and all I can think of was going to 1885 what a great place.!
