This place is a hidden gem! The food is SO good! The atmosphere is perfect. It’s small and you can hear the kitchen humming and everything is cozy and close together so it feels like home.
The chicken tenders are incredible and were my favorite part. The smashed browns are seasoned perfectly. Everything was seriously so good.
It seems to have a lot of to-go orders but they’re still able to get the food to the table quickly.
This is a five star all around and I will for sure being recommending to everyone!

This restaurant is truly a gem. Setup felt like home . Food was delicious and our waitress jess was really nice. Its rare now a days to receive good customer service and fast/tasty food. Most establishes miss on all of these but not 185. Other restaurants here is the blue print . Can’t wait to return.

It is always unplanned trips that allow me to explore a bit and glad I did. I was sitting in the parking lot of a large chain breakfast pulled up Yelp to see what I might be missing. Glad wasn’t lazy…15 mins later I was in the parking lot for 185!
If you haven’t been to 185 on Little Florida Road in Poquoson, you are seriously missing out. This charming, family-owned neighborhood gem is everything a great local restaurant should be and then some.
The moment I walked through the door, I felt it. You’re not just a customer here; you’re a guest. The welcome was immediate and genuine and set the tone for the whole experience before I even sat down.
I ordered the brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries, and wow, it delivered. I was surprised the blackberry chipotle sauce worked BERY WELL! The brisket was tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Paired with perfectly seasoned sweet potato fries, it was the kind of meal that sticks with you long after you leave. This isn’t reheated, thrown-together food, you can taste the love and craft in every bite. It was like Woman Power this morning with all ladies from front to back. Their whole vibe was awesome from the front of the house to the back.
I have to give a very special shoutout to my waitress, Tiffany… she was absolutely AWESOME. Attentive, personable, and full of good energy, she made the whole experience even better. The kind of server who makes you feel like you’re dining with a friend.
Looks like 185 was ranked #87 on Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants in 2023, and after my visit, I completely understand why. The owners obviously had a beautiful vision and it is being executed incredibly…to my benefit today!
Five stars, without question. When I am back in the area….I’ll be back, and I’m bringing my wife will tell everyone I know.

We love this place! The service is always great no matter who you have, and I’ve tried many different things on the menu and can honestly say every single one of them has been delicious and fresh! You should definitely try it if you’re in the area!

We decided to go out for breakfast while running errands. I’ve been to 185 a long time ago and I won’t wait so long to go back again. We were greeted and seated quickly. The decor is Beachy and elegant. The seating is somewhat awkward but that’s because it is a small place. A few tables for two would make it more intimate. The bathroom was very clean and decorated with the same theme. They had a dish with feminine products if needed. That is always a nice touch. My boyfriend said the coffee was a little weak for his liking. The mimosa was good, I had the OJ. It took a little bit for us to have our order taken but was well worth it. The food was incredible and the portions are large. I had the sausage breakfast burrito. It was nice and cheesy and the tortilla was nice and crisp. The salsa ( if you request it ) tastes very fresh. My boyfriend had the 185 plate and was very happy with it. The bacon was cooked perfectly and had a very distinct and great flavor. I’m looking forward to trying more menu items. We will go back for sure.

Excellent staff, service, and food!!! This is our weekly date morning restaurant! My husband’s favorite side are the fries (SERVED ALL DAY LONG). My go to is the Hangover plate!! Go see Lenora and the crew at 185 for a delicious breakfast/lunch!

Me and my husband was looking for a good breakfast after the gym and we just so happen to stumble across this place here and when I tell you I’m so glad we did!!!!! This is by far THE BEST breakfast, service and atmosphere we have EVER encountered in Hampton Roads area. This is our new spot now. The food was TOP Notch, hands down. The Owners came and conversed with us and everything. We even had to meet the chef! Everything was from scratch! From the time we walked in the door until we left we felt at home. This is the only spot we will go to for breakfast and can’t wait to try just about everything on the menu! Thank you 185 for everything! We will be regulars!

It was my 1st time here and I ordered the breakfast burrito brisket but instead got a different burrito I never even ordered. My ordered was messed up by the server but was fix right away. She was very friendly and polite. The burrito was oily and dripped in oil. I didn’t even bothered since my ordered was messed up the 1st time & I patiently waited while i ate my sweet potato fries with my orange juice. Overall I will give it another try but won’t ordered burritos since the reviews were saying otherwise this is the reason I gave it a try. It wasn’t my best experience like most but I’ll give it a 2nd chance.
