Excellent food! Great, and comfortable atmosphere. Not loud at all in dining room areas. Older building but modern updates. The food is delicious and we’ve tried many dishes. They are open every day of the week (new hours) since after the new year 2026. The food is fantastic…if you haven’t tried…it’s a must! Can’t say enough positive things about 1815 Tavern. Just go!

What an awesome place. There is a very cool bar area. We had the good fortune to sit right by the fireplace. We’re looking forward to the outdoor seating once it warms up. The food was exceptional. I had the salmon with the forbidden black rice. I am telling you, this was easily the best salmon I have ever had. We had an excellent server who was perfectly attentive and funny. And the owner, John, is the kindest man. Not only did he spend time chatting with my wife and me, but I also noticed him at several other tables checking in with genuine care.

I went there yesterday with my Canadian friend for brunch, and we loved it. We’re both foreigners and we were impressed with the quality of the service provided there. Our server came multiple times to ask if we needed anything. The tea was excellent.
Very clean, cozy, nice area, food was great, prices were decent, I will bring my husband there next time.

Showed up in the midst of a snow storm warning around 2 pm on a Sunday. What an inviting restaurant, being seated next to the fireplace! After the chicken pasta primavera, I decided to try the brussel sprout salad, because I love trying new combinations. It did not disappoint! Finished off with pots de creme, another first. Wonderful experience!

This is a quaint, historic tavern. The food and drink menu are very nice. I am vegan with many food allergies, and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The food and drinks were very good. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. We had a nice table for 5, the restaurant was not very crowded and the noise level low. I would definitely visit this restaurant the next time I visit the area.

I really enjoyed this place. The building is so old and nostalgic. The salmon was wonderful and it actually had a undertone of sweetness. It was also super tender. The fried green tomatoes were also quite good. They don’t have a very large menu but it has enough to choose from depending on your appetite.

Overall had a cool, dark wood moulding, English pub vibe. The wood fired pizza was pretty darn good and French fries had a truffle oil flavor which was a little addicting. Lettuce was like a home grown bib style with a nice sweet flavor, I enjoyed the taste. Grilled chicken was cooked right but was a little light on seasoned flavor. Was good though. Menu has an interesting variety despite being focused and a smaller listed offering. There were many items that sounded tasty that I’d be interested to try another time. Recommended stop for a quick bite when you go to the Aurora Farms Outlet.
