Attended the soft opening at the new 1812 tavern. The remodel is gorgeous, inside was clean, service was awesome and attentive. Its definitely not Rush Creek.

Loved the atmosphere and service was great! Bummed a little with the cheese for the pretzel bites. Seems old and not melty.
I got the brisket sandwich. Loved it. Im a huge fan of pickled red onion. And it was thinly sliced layers.
I also got a cup of the gumbo. Was decent.
I want to go back and try to wings and pizza here.

Popped into the 1812 Tavern to see what it was all about! It definitely has a trendy, sports-bar feel, especially right by the bar. Good news: there was plenty of seating and lots of staff around. The menu has a nice selection, but I struck out with my 10 oz burger—it was overcooked and served well-done when I really prefer medium-rare. On the bright side, the rest of my group loved their dishes, and the brisket was the clear winner at the table.

This was my third visit to 1812 Tavern and I love it more each time!
We were greeted by Steven, the host, with a friendly smile and were promptly taken to a spacious booth.
Our server, Amelia, was incredible! She took our drink order quickly and was on her game for the entire night. She was knowledgeable with the menu and helped us select perfect options for our dinners.
My Basil Hayden Old Fashioned was clearly made by an expert behind the bar. There is a huge difference when a drink is crafted by someone who knows what they are doing. They have got it down!
I had a crock of the French Onion Soup as an appetizer and is was delicious! The perfectly melted and browned cheese crowned the tasty broth that was full of tender onions and large croutons. Very good!
While I have described their Beef on Weck to friends as “the best I have ever enjoyed”, I opted for the New York Steak Sandwich for last night’s dinner. The addition of a stuffed banana pepper on top was like the cherry on top of the most perfect sundae!
The steak was extremely tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. Perfect!
It was ordered with the house made chips and a side dill dip. A perfect touch!
My wife had the chicken risotto and found it to be delicious as well.
With the hospitality of the staff and the quality of the food and drinks, 1812 Tavern makes me look forward to the drive from Williamsville!

First time in and we will definitely be back. The drinks and food were amazing. We had the ahi tuna appetizer and it was fantastic. I have Celiacs and was so happy all of the items I could have. For lunch I had the Caesar salad with salmon and a side of fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the lettuce was crisp and the shaved Parmesan was delicious. My husband had the 1812 burger and loved it. Also our server was attentive and friendly. It is a pleasure to have such a great restaurant so close to where we live.

Beyond amazing!!! So many gluten free options ❤️. Had both the spicy sausage and brisket GF pizzas (well done). They seem larger than the 10” the menu states. Both times we have been in, the place was busy but not noisy. Very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back. Only wish that we could call ahead for take out. Can’t wait to try more!

We went there as a family yesterday, 2/14 and they were not busy, we got seated right away. We were excited to go, since we always heard good things about the place. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. And then another 15-20 minutes for them to realize that we never had our food order taken. The waitress that took our order was not our initial waitress. She was very nice and apologetically, said they were short one waitress, that’s why service was slower. I watched as every other table got waited multiple times, while ours was forgotten. My husband asked for another drink, and before I got the chance to order mine, the waitress was gone. We finished our dinner and were never asked if we wanted desert, just given our boxes and check. The food was good, but we were very disappointed with the service.

Service was excellent, when order came out prepared wrong, our server, Margaret, was great. She did everything she could to make it right. Very much appreciated her friendly helpful service. Food turned out good too. Our group of 12 was happy comfortable and very well accommodated.

My wife and I frequent there and we have to say it is the best that location has ever been and we’ve been dining in that location 30 years. Rachel and Brian G. are the heartbeat of that place behind the pine % They are FUN, courteous. and make amazing drinks !!! They really bring the atmosphere and professionalism. The new Chef Billy is off the charts good and has been whipping up the best food ever food served at that address . 1812 Tavern is an AMAZING place to go to…Cheers to Kyle and the bunch for providing a kick-ass quality, fun place to go

I usually start with the good things about a restaurant first, but I honestly have nothing to start with here. If I could leave a negative 5 star review, I would. The service was slow, our appetizer was brought to the wrong table and it took 20 minutes just to get that. The wings were luke warm, soggy, and flavorless when they finally came out. I had to choke down 3 of them only because I was starving at this point. The carrots were WHITE, and the celery was nearly limp and had no crunch at all. The Bleu cheese portion was the smallest I have ever seen in WNY. My daughter’s chicken tenders were also terrible. I could see and taste chunks of uncooked corn meal in the breading. The fries were OK, but nothing more than frozen fries from a bag. As for cleanliness, we had flies all over our table and food the entire time we were there. It’s probably from the condensation from the A/C that was dripping on us the whole time and literally causing the floor beneath us to mold. When we told the waitress about it, she said “yeah, that’s an issue at this table”. She never once asked us how the food was, even after taking away full plates of uneaten food and us telling her we didn’t want a take out box. Even if we wanted to tell her, we only saw her once about 15 minutes after we got our food. This is seriously the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant ever. We actually had to stop at Taco Bell on the way home just so we weren’t hungry for the rest of the night.

The recent renovation and redesigned layout have completely transformed the interior, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that works beautifully for both private events and casual dining. The thoughtful update makes the space feel fresh, comfortable, and well-suited for gatherings of all sizes.
The evening was flawlessly executed, and Aarron, our event organizer, deserves special recognition. From planning to execution, Aarron was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was perfect. The setup, flow, and overall experience reflected careful coordination and pride in what he does. Aarron was truly the standout and the primary reason the night ran so smoothly.
Behind the bar, Alicia was fantastic. Drinks were expertly made, served efficiently, and always delivered with a friendly, welcoming attitude that kept the energy high throughout the evening.
Beyond our event, we’ve also dined at 1812 Tavern several times, and each visit has been consistently enjoyable. The food has been excellent, and the ambiance, especially after the renovation, makes it a great place to return to again and again, whether for dinner or special occasions.
