Couldn’t find a single reason to give less than 5 stars! The atmosphere was so quaint, our sever, Tony, is the guy you really need to bring home so he can describe everything that is happening around you at all times! His energy and passion for the food was incredible and he left us feeling like we should rush back! Our food (all courses) was absolutely delicious. You can tell that so much thought went into each dish. I had the salmon and will have that again for sure! If you don’t get dessert, you didn’t come to play! Will be back and will bring friends because everyone needs to try this place! (Pictures shown: Summer cheese spread, Salmon, Peach Cobbler, Beignets, Short Rib Asian Bowl)

Waitress was a little socially awkward, but very nice. I ordered lasagna, my husband ordered the pork chop, both of which were very salty. Drinks took a long time to come out, but we’re very good. Our bill was also given to a different table, so we had to pay someone else’s bill. This was fine, as it came out a couple bucks cheaper, just a little odd. I wild eat here again, but I would order something different.

Great spot in Delaware for a quality meal. We made an Open Table Rez at 5:45 on a Saturday night, it fit our schedule. Good thing we did because walk-ins had to wait a long time. By the time we left at 7, the large restaurant was full.

Had the smash burger w fries. The burger was well over-cooked (dark grey throughout) but it was saved by the sauce. They should stick with a single patty and cook it less – the cow is already dead. The fries were excellent, however, and the service was superb. I would return in a heartbeat.

Dined here while visiting family and it could not have been better. We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert, including wine. Everyone ordered something different and every dish was perfect. The server was professional AND fun. Perfect in every way. My hometown considers itself a “foodie” locale and 1808 challenged them on every front. Way to go and thank you for an extraordinary evening.

Emily was our server and she was great. The food was delicious. Only drawback is when the dining area was full it was extremely loud. The acoustics are not great. It was very hard to hear the person sitting across from me-when we left I had a slight headache.

NOT impressed. Service was slow for dinner, watched a couple seated after us get served first. Meal presentation was good but priced for outstanding taste, which it is not, just average. Dessert wait time was unexcusable, finally waitress stopped and said they lost the ticket. Cancelled dessert and went elsewhere. Seems like they are operating on there past reputation, but there are now better options in Delaware.

My friends and I came here for the first time a few months ago. They had their greenhouses up outside and we were able to make a reservation to eat in one. I recommend not booking one on a really hot day because we were really hot, but otherwise, it was so cool!
