Went here and tried it out for the first time. Got the cheesesteak and fries, for appetizers we got the Stromboli bites as well as the loaded fries. The loaded fries were a winner, although eat them quick while they’re hot because as they cool down, they lose their crispness and like ability. The Stromboli bites were small and seemed like they were a little bit well done for me, wish I would’ve taken a picture. My cheesesteak was recommended as one of the better things on the menu, but quite frankly it was a weird taste as well as definitely like pot roast with cheese, whiz, and cheese on it. It wasn’t my favorite. I wish I would’ve gotten a burger.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and I feel so at home every single time I come in. Josh, the owner, always goes out of his way to make his customers feel comfortable and Mackenna always knows what food and drink items to recommend and makes the drinks absolutely amazing! If I could rate this place 6 stars I would! Love all the bartenders and this place!!

The staff and owner were amazing!! They were very nice and friendly. The pizza was so good. It’s a great tavern with many locals. Plus the live music was great. They have so many TVs you can definitely watch your favorite sports teams play. This is a must visit !!! You will not be disappointed.

Came in around 12:30 on Sunday. Place was nice and clean, sat down and was greeted very quickly! The downeast seasonal cider was awesome. We got their gameday skins which were awesome, way better than your traditional potato skins (i believe they were double baked). The burgers here are delicious! The honey BBQ burger was phenomenal and the sliders were a great size and worth every penny! The fries are crispy and their ranch is awesome as well!
I originally tried them through doordash then learned they are right by my girlfriends work. Glad we stopped in today, will come back in the future. Kitchen was quick and put out great quality food, and the gentleman that was serving us and was behind the bar was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this local place!

Great space. Friendly service. Food came out quick and was hot. Wings were really good. Whipped ricotta dip was good. The bread that came with is was a little over done, it kept breaking in the cheese. Black bean burger was alright. I was hoping it was made in house, but no luck. Fries were excellent! We will be back. Trying the pizza next time!

I worry that they aren’t drawing enough business as it’s not been full any of the times I’ve been there (weekend dinner). The food is very good and I don’t want to lose out on that offering.
I’ve eaten there a few times now. Their pizza is excellent (particularly the honey BBQ). I had a sandwich and fries. Also very good. Portions seem to be on the large size but priced right. I take the extra home which is routine for me.
The wait staff is pleasant and personable. No complaints. I didn’t have any concern about the cost either. I got an excellent glass of wine there. Nice selection.

Last night my boyfriend and I tried a new spot to watch the buckeyes take on the longhorns not only did we get a win , but we had an amazing experience at 1801 Tavern ! Made some great friends who also turned out to be exceptional staff of 1801 ! The owner Matt was so kind and such a hands on manager I loved to see when his restaurant got busy he was all hands on deck everywhere that was needed or necessary! The bartenders were making delicious and beautiful cocktails , while giving us different taste testers as we were indecisive of what we wanted ! The Alfredo chips were a scrumptious starter , I’m not a blue cheese fan but the crumbles on the chips with the rich Alfredo sauce paired perfect and gave the right balance ! We also tried the wings and a spicy pizza ! The wings were prepared just right with the best crunch and abundant amount of meat , and the sauces offered were different than any I’d seen elsewhere . Calabrian chili sauce was phenomenal , I could use that sauce on ANY and EVERYTHING it was so good. The spicy pepperoni pizza had the perfect blend of sweet and spicy the melted cheese with the ezzo pepperonis and hot honey was amazing ! I highly recommend 1801 tavern to anyone looking for an outstanding dinner , and ambiance with great staff !

For a variety of reasons we aren’t fans of the normal menu but we always could count on their pizza. Awesome every time — that changed last night. These pictures show how 30% of the pie didn’t even have sauce or cheese. Gross bubbles in other areas. Cupped pepperoni’s filled with grease water. No idea what happened to the normal pizza. The waitress was nice and said she agreed this isn’t normal — but it confused us why she saw it and still delivered it to our table knowing this without asking the kitchen for a remake?! No QC clearly. She did take it off our bill but we didn’t eat it, just asked them to take it away.

This family operated restaurant with a bar is relatively new (at least to me).Great selection of full menu selections. Some creative items like meatloaf sandwich, jalapeno deviled eggs. Great loaded subs. They were great and the food is really good. Help support this locally owned business.
