What a delightful place to have dinner! The place is absolutely stunning with such historic charm. Our waiter, Grant, was excellent and attentive. The food was amazing. Three of us had the pork chop and one had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, all delicious. My husband declared it the best pork chop he’d ever had. Dessert was Pumpkin Cheesecake and it didn’t disappoint. We were visiting the area on business. We can’t wait for business to bring us back to this area so we can visit this fine establishment again.

The food was exquisite—both visually stunning and flawlessly executed, with each bite showcasing clear intention and artistry. Josh provided impeccable service, attentive yet unobtrusive, which elevated the entire experience. The historic setting, nestled along a charming Main Street, created an ambiance as memorable as the cuisine itself. We look forward with great anticipation to returning.

The Restaurant 1741 on the Terrace in the Bethlehem Hotel was a disappointment. We had a 5PM reservation so we were the second table to be seated. While the waiter was pleasant during our wait, the food took until 6:30PM to reach the table. Other parties arrived, ate, and departed before we were even served. We were 6 adults and one 7 year old. Thankfully, we have an exceptionally well behaved granddaughter to have waited that long. The food itself was satisfactory. Our stay at the hotel was also satisfactory. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Should I ever find myself back in Bethlehem, PA, I could see myself spending the night at the hotel but eating elsewhere.

We had a great experience here at the Bethlehem Hotel. Super clean and fancy. Service was very attentive. Oh yeah and the cheesesteak was by far the best cheesesteak we ever ate. Check out the pictures. The meat has so much flavor and with the cheese it actually melted in my mouth. You have to try one.

Enjoyed dinner at 1741 Terrace on 2/25. Such a beautiful landmark! The service is impeccable and the food is a culinary delight! We had caesar salad, bread, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and salmon. Everything was prepared to perfection! Dessert of chocolate mousse was the grand finale! Highly recommend and look forward to our next trip!

Abysmal service. Food was excellent but at these prices, I would expect the table to be level. . We had to insist that we be given another table.
They did not remove first course plates but simply placed entrees anywhere they fit.
Onna slow Monday night, service from the bar and kitchen was very slow. Very sad to give such a poor review to such a lovely venue.

Food was pretty good. Specialty cocktails were great. Shrimp cocktail and crab cake was great. Filet was slightly burned. Pricey. Fees for room service and gratuity also included.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Bethlehem 1741 on the Terrace during Winter Restaurant Week, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. The ambience of the restaurant was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed evening out.
The service was exceptional-our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. We chose to go with the Winter Restaurant Week menu, and both of us selected the skirt steak for our entrée. It was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, making for an incredibly satisfying meal. We also enjoyed the appetizers and desserts, which were a great complement to the main course.
As this was my first time visiting, I was impressed by the overall quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning in the future to explore more of what the restaurant has to offer.
Highly recommend for a great night out in Bethlehem!

Food was really good. I had a burger with salad, shrimp cocktail, and the peach cobbler a la mode. Everything came out fast and the server was great. The one recommendation I would make is to use less lean ground beef for the burger and cook it a little less if its ordered medium. Beyond that it was fantastic.
