Since the restaurant opened four years ago, this was the first visit as a business dinner with reservations. Seating was immediate. The charm and architecture detail, especially the wide hearth, of this historical building is appreciated within Chalfont. Many time period objects adorn the walls and window sills. The 30 minute wait for menus and longer for ordering may have been unnoticed if there was a bread basket. Smartly, one member order the fine French onion soup. Once arrived the meals were superb with the bison short rib lean, rich w/ gravy, and filling. The cheese macaroni was incredibly delicious with white cheddar. The jambalaya was also praised for being hearty and full of flavor. Cheesecake was excellent for being classically simple, fresh, and not heavy. Highly recommend for an experience focused on having multiple courses filled with excellent conversation without regard to duration.

I had a reservation for 11 people last night to celebrate the 3rd night of Hanukkah. We were treated royally. The people who work there are incredible! So friendly. So helpful, making sure every guest is happy. The food is delicious. Alot of us ordered from the game menu. Bison and wild boar ribs….were so good. My family loved every choice they made. My Granddaughter ordered waffles and ice cream and I tasted the Waffle….so YUM ! Next time I’m getting that. I had alot of table decorations and Ali (our wonderful Server) complimented how fun it all looks. I recommend 1720 for special occasions or just the 2 of you, you will have a delicious time !

A hidden gem in Chalfont, this is the place to go on Thursday for Prime Rib. Not only is it done perfectly, the chef actually rolls the Prime Rib roast out on a cart, slices your choice tableside and places it on your platter. Nice experience for an awesome cut. If you miss Thursday’s Prime Rib, it makes it way into a scrumptious Prime Rib cheesesteak that is absolutely worthy.
The burgers are a must try as well. So flavorful that condiments are not needed.
Shrimp cocktail is highly recommended. Large and succulent. The accompanying wasabi cocktail sauce is a treat unto itself.
Cozy place, make a reservation and, if possible, definitely check it out on a Thursday for the Prime Rib.

My parents and I had a great experience here. We got to sit in the event room for our dinner. Pictured below are some of our dishes. The food here is phenomenal. The service is great and the owners are very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Our families held a bridal shower this weekend for my beautiful daughter in law. She was so happy with how everything turned out! I can’t say enough about the staff. Galina and her team were incredible. Friendly and responsive. Everything was displayed beautifully. We had a breakfast buffet, and the food was ample and delicious. So many options! Everyone especially loved the waffles and commented on how impressed they were. Some had never been there; some had not been there under the new owners.
I’ve also had dinner there on Prime Rib night and the food was exceptional!
