Pretty decent Taiwanese restaurant. It got some authentic Taiwanese dishes.

Their steamed fish is a must have. Very fresh and tender. Shrimp fried rice have lots of jumbo sized shrimp, totally worth it. Deep fried pork shoulder with sweet and sour sauce is perfect for beer.

The staff is very attentive. Price is decent within Eastside regular range.

The restaurant is pretty spacious. Food is decent, but idk if I’d say this is the most Taiwanese food; the Chinese dishes were good though.

Stinky tofu was pretty decent but wasn’t stinky enough, however, the Taiwanese kimchi is pretty authentic. 3 cup chicken seems to be lacking a little bit in flavor and a tad bit dry.

On the other hand, salted egg yolk shrimp was very flavorful, and the fried chicken was really yummy too.

Food is very decent and authentic over all.

Water spinach with satay beef – definitely my personal favorite. Well flavored, good meat to veg ratio and fresh spinach.

Braised pork rice –
Very authentic and well flavored. Egg was eggcellent.

“Pork sandwich” –
Has a very interesting kinda sweet flavor to it.

Popcorn chicken –
This was rather mild and average. Also didn’t quite like the fact that it was served last when it is an appetizer. Sorry but appetizers are meant to come before entrees and yes it does matter.

Authentic Taiwanese restaurant. Scallion oil chicken and stinky tofu are terrific. Enjoyed every dish we ordered. Attentive service as well. We’ll come back!

While this spot offers authentic Taiwanese dishes, the taste is inconsistent, some were fantastic, like three cup chicken and Saturday veggies with beef, others weren’t great, like the pineapple shrimp.

It’s a quiet and clean option for casual dining, but you can find better Taiwanese cuisine elsewhere.

The food tasted awful and the quality was very bad. We ordered Stir-Fried Pea Shoots With Garlic, Boneless Salted Duck (Half Duck) and Taiwanese Fried Rice Noodles. The Pea Shoots were very tough and stringy like eating fiber. I can put a stem standup vertically on the plate ( as shown in the picture). The salted Duck is supposed to be a cold dish, but it came with cold tasteless duck meat with hot cooked bean sprouts. At last the fried rice noodles tasted salty and mushy. Meat and vegetables were not mixed well with the noodles. We mentioned it to the waiter about the bean shoots were too tough, he just offer making another vegetable dish. No apologies. We will not go back again.

We chose this restaurant for our first dinner of the trip because it was conveniently located right across from our hotel and had good reviews. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a casual ambiance. We were seated quickly and ordered their famous Yam And Bamboo Fungus Chicken Soup and Stir-fried Bamboo Shoots with Black Pork ,stir-fried Water Spinach with Garlic and a special deal where we added a plate of Mapo tofu for just $1 more.
The food arrived impressively fast. The soup lived up to its reputation—heartwarming and perfect for a chilly evening. Every dish was flavorful and authentically Taiwanese, but they were all a bit on the salty side. If I were to visit again, I’d ask for less salt, which would make the dishes truly perfect.
Overall, it was a satisfying meal with great efficiency and authentic flavors—a wonderful start to our trip!

This is one of few 10/10 restaurants I’ve been to. The food was top notch and came out incredibly fast. Everything was made to such a high standard and I will be coming back frequently.

The staff was helpful and friendly. I was given a table pretty quickly even though it was relatively busy.

They had a special mid-autumn festival menu that looked pretty good, but we were a small group and wanted to try other options.

The soup was delicious, it’s one of their specialty, although a bit on the pricier side. We got the crispy chicken with special sauce bento box. It was really good, the chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The proportions were also generous. The side was tomato and eggs which were prepared nicely.

The atmosphere was loud and lively. Removing one star on the atmosphere for the unfortunate table placement. The table next to us was positioned in a way where we would be staring at each other directly when looking straight ahead. It’s awkward.
