For the last 5 years, we have drinks here on the roof and enjoy cigars, but tonight my wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at 1509 Restaurant in Brunswick, GA and it was absolutely perfect.
From the moment we walked in, our hostess Ive made us feel welcomed and special. Our waitress, Fallon, was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. The kind of service that makes a great meal even better and Bethany at the bar set the tone beautifully with 2 fantastic glasses of Bordeaux.
The food? Outstanding. We started with a salad featuring strawberries and beets that was fresh and beautifully balanced. The triple tail with risotto was cooked perfectly. Light, flavorful, and memorable. The pork tenderloin with Brussels sprouts was just as impressive. Tender, rich, and done right.
Dessert sealed the deal. The crème brûlée was classic and flawless, and the panna cotta with key lime sauce and a scone was next-level delicious. Finished it all with coffee and just sat there smiling, soaking it in.
But what truly made the night unforgettable was Fallon surprising us with a card signed by the staff and a vase of red roses to take back to our room at The Kress Building. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and it meant so much to us.
29 years married and 1509 gave us a night worthy of the milestone. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow!!! If youre looking for a calm and quiet date night or anniversary spot to visit then you definitely need to try 1509!! The rooftop ambiance is beautiful and it creates a very intimate experience that I will always remember. My wife and I enjoyed everything from our waiter’s attentiveness as well as the quiet conversation between the bartenders and other customers. This is certainly a hidden gem in Brunswick!!! Afterwards you can enjoy a walk near the boats!!

The prices are extremely high, but it’s very romantic setting.There’s been a lot of money updating the building.There’s a rooftop terrace on the very top that allows you to have drinks and your food and the view of brunswick is three hundred and sixty five degrees very pretty.

Amazing triple tail fish on risotto here. 50 cent wings were a hit. Great place for dinner. Feels like luxurious fine dining, tastes like world class Michelin level cuisine.

Beautiful scenery and delicious meal. Hostess and wait staff were very attentive. My husband and I went for an anniversary meal and were not disappointed. Highly recommend if you are local to Brunswick or visiting the downtown area. Reservations suggested. It was a rainy night yet the awning that is pulled over the dining area worked wonderfully.

Nice rooftop bar if you’re looking for a higher end restaurant. Located in the historic district in Brunswick, the restaurant offers picturesque views of downtown and live music while you dine. Cocktails were amazing and will definetly going back.

The food and service were fantastic. The best meal I have ever had in SSI area. Most definitely worth the short drive over, great sunset view and fresh local dishes. The grilled tripletail served over risotto was spot on!

When I tell you this place gets 10’sssssss all across the board. I have not one complaint from the beginning to the end. Amazing customer service and knowledgeable bartenders Lexi and Bethany. They made great recommendations and phenomenal drinks. Great smiles and personality, they were never intrusive. You have some Awesome bartenders. Each course was delivered promptly and Cooked to PERFECTION. At one point the head chef stopped by Chef Chris Lagrone and I was about to commend him on such an excellent execution of his craft! You can see it through the menu and taste it through each dish. The peanut butter oat cookie with ice cream is absolutely out of this world I would highly recommend. The salads, fish with street corn risotto with leeks . I can’t brag enough. The ooverall Ambiance is so peaceful and just breathtaking. I recommend anyone in this area to give this a try! GREAT JOB TEAM!!! knocked it out of the park

A great gem in Brunswick! Our server Holly was welcoming and informative. The food was over the top. We ate slowly to enjoy the flavors that we could tell was specifically paired. We had the French onion soup and loaded potato soup as starters, then shared the Ceasars salad with their rendition of croutons that i could eat alone all day. Our entrees were the steak fettuccine and the bourbon glazed salmon. Both worthy of the best rewards. The cauliflower both ways was phenomenal. Great atmosphere, great service, great location and the food was fantastic. One of the best experiences!

“Highly” recommend this restaurant. Our first time visiting Brunswick, Georgia. Atmosphere was extremely pleasant and relaxing. The food we ordered came out tasteful, hot and delivered in a reasonable time without making you feel being rushed. Best food I had eaten in a long time. Our waitress was extremely nice and kept on top of things with our table. The whole staff all looked presentable and professional. I thought the pricing was also extremely well for what it offers. Again, I “HIGHLY” recommend the 1509 restaurant and will return back when visiting Brunswick .
