Part of the chicken fried steak was hard as a rock. My daughter was stabbing it with a fork, and the fork was bouncing off the meat. My ribs were partly pork jerky. Ribs should be moist and falling off the bone. I sent my half rack back, and they brought out a different half rack that was moist and falling off the bone. The mashed potatoes aren’t real potatoes, they’re powder. The jam was suspiciously and overly red. The gravy on the potatoes tasted like it came from a can. My son’s burger was cooked medium, not medium rare as requested. The menu says tossed salad, yet everything was set in its little section on the plate, but was the only thing that the cook couldn’t mess up. Our server was attentive to our drinks and such, so I’m not complaining about her. I can’t see why the place is so busy with disastrous food preparations. We also had the fried pickles, which were good. First and last visit for us though. Apparently, this isn’t the only review referring to pork jerky being served.

Talk about a hidden gem, this place was a find. I enjoy trying smoked meat at places, but never seen smoked & deep fried. The ribs were by far the most soft and tender I’ve tried anywhere hands down. To top it off I had the Ribwich with hot BBQ sauce . Then we hit the market for some Easter treats with cinnamon rolls and road trip spread. Well worth our drive to eat here, will return again to try some other dishes. Well, we returned to try their breakfast and it did not disappoint. Both the twisted hash and Irish Omelette were great, large portion sizes. Their sourdough toast was good and the raspberry jam was even better.

I rarely leave a review, but I feel that the owners need to hear this. You have a gold mine here as far as potential. However, we will not be back. EVERY staff member except one older lady was constantly touching/rubbing/scratching their faces and hair. Our server (young man) dropped off our food and we never saw him again. I was never offered a coffee refill or jelly for my toast. My hash browns were way overcooked and my husband’s hollandaise sauce was broken down. My husband had to track down the server for our bill and request to see the bill before paying because he just told him the total rather than providing a paper copy.

After driving by this place for years I finally stopped in and grabbed a bite to eat. WOW… this restaurant is a must stop if you’re near! We dined outside on their cute cozy patio. Our service was awesome and the food was AMAZING! Not to mention they make all of their sauces, gravies and soups from scratch.
Inside this adorable market you can purchase a variety of fruit preserves, honey, wines as well as beer. Oh yeah and I can’t forget to mention they have a dessert case with a variety of individual pieces of cakes and pies for you to take home. We picked out two different desserts from the dessert case and of course they were both delicious. They also had whole homemade pies on the counter to purchase. I can’t wait to come back to try something else since there were so many items on the menu that sounded good.
The only negative thing I have to say is I wish I wouldn’t have waited all these years to stop and see what this place was about. I highly recommend eating here.
Pictures are of the turkey reuben and the jack wrap.

Great locale for breakfast and Lunch! We had the OG Burrito and Country omelette – also picked up some local honey. Easy to see why the place was packed with homies

It’s absolutely amazing!!! The atmosphere staff and food are absolutely fantastic. Although we didn’t get any beer or wine there is a great selection. And their hot chocolate is the best we’ve had in a long time. Real bacon too!

What a cute, dog-friendly restaurant in Cadillac, Michigan! Friendly service, tasty food. Outdoor & indoor seating. My only complaint is that I wish they put real butter on the bread instead of margarine or whatever they use- it ruins the delicious bread. This place is so cozy and cute. I didn’t recognize it from the outside, but when I went inside, I realized I had been here several years ago. I really liked it then, too! Keep up the good work.

Very friendly servers! My sister ordered the 13th Street Club on wheat, it did not disappoint! I had 1/2 rack of baby back ribs with fries and Mac and cheese. The ribs fell off the bone they were very tender, just too much bbq sauce overpowered the taste. The Mac and cheese was delicious! Fries were okay.
Overall I would stop here again next time I visit Cadillac but would try their breakfast which I’ve heard is phenomenal!

Drove up to try the deep fried ribs and have dinner. They are SO worth the drive. Also had a turkey Reuben with fries. Fries were typical seasoned fries, but cooked well. Bread on the sandwich was delicious, due to a cold I had trouble tasting the rest.
Lovely murals on the walls and a cute little marketplace area. Bought cinnamon rolls, and some jam, and can’t wait to try them tomorrow.
We will be back, there’s other delicious sounding entrees to try.

What a great find!!! Jill provided awesome service, and rhetoric food was incredibly delicious only recommendation is they could use some acoustic tile on the ceiling. The noise level is my only complaint.
