Ambience great. Service amazing with multiple servers and managers making sure our experience was good. Our main server was Terrell.

The Double Pork Chop was the most tender flavorful pork chop I’ve ever had. The cornbread appetizer was flavorful and jalapeño not overpowering. The inside was soft and flavorful with an outside buttery crust.
The medallions were a daily special. The flavor profile was great with the Demi glaze and smashed potatoes but the texture was off, very chewy. We thought it was the cook as it came out rare but cooking a little more didn’t fix it but they graciously offered the barrel cut filet to replace it which was tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked with nice sear. They even brought out chili while I waited. The chili was good but not my flavor profile being originally from the Midwest, more tomato and chunks of beef instead of ground beef.
Overall amazing and will be back.

The dining experience was phenomenal! The professionalism and attentiveness was top tier. Our waiter Jason was superb. Our entrée were cooked perfectly. One of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had. Dan the manager is top notch. Will return and highly recommend.

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was polite, the seating wait time was quick (bar seating is self seating / first come first serve). Everything on the menu sounded amazing, and everything we ordered tasted amazing. Our server was very helpful when it came to choosing appetizers and entrees. He did mention everything was his favorite and he did not disappoint! The salmon was perfectly smoked, the ribeye was well marinated and cooked to perfection, the baked chicken was half a chicken and tasted amazing as well. The cornbread was flavorful and the chips and quad was also delicious. The restaurant quickly filled up once they opened so that alone says a lot. I will definitely be coming back more often to try other menu items!

Superb service on Valentine’s Day from the moment we were greeted at the door. Every staff member was warm and welcoming and made sure we had whatever we needed. Food was excellent starting with the cornbread. Double pork chops and prime rib. We were too full for dessert. The entire meal was well paced and not rushed. Thank you to the staff for making our dinner enjoyable and relaxing.

We celebrated a birthday with a big group and ordered almost everything on the menu.

Here’s my detailed take on the dishes:

Appetizers (highlights!):

1. Shrimp Cocktail $22 – 3.5 stars. Three huge, succulent shrimp served chilled with a classic cocktail sauce. While fresh, they lacked a wow flavor – just straightforward shrimp taste.

2. Smoked Salmon $19 – 4.5 stars. Smoked salmon with a subtle smokiness, paired with crispy, flavorful crackers and a dollop of creamy sauce. Fresh and delicious!

3. Cast Iron Corn Bread $12 – My favorite for the evening. 5 stars. Moist, airy crumb with a hint of sweetness and perfect cornbread texture. Served warm in a cast iron skillet – amazing!

Salads:
– Caesar Salad: 3.5 stars. Romaine leaves were fresh but chopped into huge, unwieldy pieces. The dressing was creamy and tangy, but it needed more crunch.

Entrees:
1. Big Island Ribeye 14oz $55 – 0 stars. Ordered medium rare but got a steak charred black outside. The pineapple sweet soy marinate overpowered the ribeye’s flavor. Couldn’t eat more than a bite.

2. Danish Baby Back Ribs $38 – 1 star. Thin, fall-off-the-bone ribs drowned in a sweet BBQ sauce. Just too sweet for me.

Service was 4 stars – good, with some minor hiccups, but no major complaints. It’s a relatively new restaurant, so I understand things are still getting fine-tuned.

Would I come back? Not sure. Maybe for the appetizers.

Recently visited 131 Main on a recommendation and had a wonderful experience. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, who was smiling and welcoming (to me one of the most important parts of the experience as it sets the tone of the evening). We chatted with her about the seating options during a very busy night. They had a main dining room, bar area, which had some booth seating and an enclosed patio. The three of us sat in the main dining room area. Sutton (our server) greeted us with a very informative overview of the specials and gave a few descriptions, which made all the dishes sound delicious. Ultimately we decided on an Atlantic wreckedfish specials, ribeye steak with a pineapple glaze, and blackened chicken pasta for our entrees. We enjoyed some perfectly mixed martini’s with some appetizer jalapeno cornbread, which was light and fluffy served with a honey drizzle. We then paired a cabernet sauvignon with our entrees. The wreckedfish which is what I ordered came with a quinoa, kale salad, which had a touch of heat in it (recommend this!). The fish was incredible….meaty, flakey, and melted in my mouth. After dinner we finished with a decadent desset. A chocolate brownie (fudge infused) with vanilla bean ice cream all drizzled with carmel. The experience from start to finish was great…greeting, service, food, atmosphere all knocked it out of the park. If you are looking to an exquisite outting I would high recommend you plan an evening at 131 Main. Thank you Sutton and staff for making it a must-go-back experience!

This place is set away from the overcrowded University Park area on the other side of I 75. Easy to get to. Adequate parking.
Hostess Morgan was there to greet with a great big welcoming smile and positive vibes even though it was near to closing time. The decor & lighting has that upscale feel. Cameron C came over fairly quickly & continued that enthusiastic vibe that Morgan had started. After his introduction he was able to suggest drink options with detailed knowledge. He made them all sound good. I chose the Pearfection Martini and it was both, different and delicious. The salad wedge came next. I chose the ginger garlic dressing for something different than the same ol usual. It was made in-house as I found out alot of theirs are. Awesome with a small kick. Next, the Blackened Chicken Pasta. Sauce made in house & it too, was delicious. Chicken was shredded and tossed with the sauce over pasta. It had just a little kick and it was great. Good portion sizes.
Cons: Some prices seemed steep.
Meals didnt come with sides or
bread. Everything sold
separately.
Pros: Service was fast and great.
Waitstaff worked together &
helped ea other.
Portion sizes good. I took 1/2
mine home so it made 2 dinners.
Chefs made great tasting meals.
Noise level low enough so people
can enjoy a conversation too.

131 Main never disappoints. Not only is the food consistently excellent, but the service is just as impressive every single time. What truly makes this restaurant stand out is its consistency — the meals are always prepared perfectly and the service is always attentive, professional, and welcoming. That kind of reliability is hard to find and keeps me coming back. The filet is hands down one of my favorite items on the menu and is an absolute must-try — cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a place that delivers quality food and service every visit, 131 Main is it.

A beautiful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere! Our reception was warm & welcoming. Carmine, our server according to the name on our bill, can
up a little short. Not what we were expecting according to previous experiences by some members of our group that had previously visited 131 Main. He presented our bill to us as a group bill. No offer was made to spilt the bill. When we asked him to redo it as a split bill since there was an error made, he seem a tad annoyed that we would ask him to modify it correctly. The food was delicious except the soup was cold. We sent it back to correct it. On the bright side. The rest of the meal was good. Having said all this, definitely worth trying again.

Smoked salmon dip was amazing!!!! A perfect starter. We ordered the Prime Rib sandwich and it was amazing as well. We casually mentioned we were splitting it, (and we totally did not expect any accommodations), they brought it out split onto 2 plates so we each had our own portion of fries, half the sandwich and individual dips. We were shocked. A restaurant has never done this for us before. Amazing service from Marissa!! We will be back to try something new
