From the moment I rolled my wheelchair through the door, the experience was defined by outstanding customer service. The staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming from the start. They gladly accommodated me with a table that was more comfortable and accessible, which immediately set a positive tone for the meal. Everyone seemed engaged, in a great mood, and ready to help. As soon as I was seated, I was promptly offered a menu, water, and beverages, and the level of care and hospitality continued throughout the visit.

The food itself more than lived up to that excellent first impression. From the presentation to the flavor, this breakfast was exceptionally well executed. The steak was moist, flavorful, and impressively robust in taste, with beautiful grill marks that added to both the appearance and the overall depth of flavor. The eggs were prepared exactly as requested, over easy, and every component on the plate was seasoned so well that no extra salt or pepper was needed, which is rare for breakfast.

The hashbrowns were lightly crisped without being burnt and had a fresh, chewy texture that tasted genuinely homemade, like the potatoes had been freshly cut and shredded. The sourdough toast was perfectly toasted, not overdone, and paired wonderfully with rich, decadent butter. What truly made this meal memorable was the combination of excellent food and exceptional service. The flavors alone would have made this a great breakfast, but the hospitality truly sealed the deal and made the entire experience stand out. Unfortunately I moved the food around before taking the picture.

Keep up the great work 13 coins!

Located under the Embassy Suits hotel 13 coins is by far one of Seattle’s hidden Gems, if you don’t know you better ask somebody. Also with it matching luxury appeal and top class customer service the food here cannot be ignored. When you sit down at 13 coins you feel like you are about to be amazed. I got to tell you I’m always amazed when I order one of my most favorite sandwiches in the world, The Monte’ Cristo. Their take on the classic sandwich will make you want another but you either be too refined to do so or full. Looks can be deceiving and this sandwich is. Not because it looks a certian way, though when you bite into it you you’ll won’t expect the taste and how they made it. I order an order of bacon and pineapple juice along side the scrumptious dish and I’m good to go. The experience at 13 coins is great, however, the food is what you dream of, 5 stars.

2/14/26, 10am. Moderate business, 2 of us were sat at the counter, not asked if that was OK versus a table. Turned out to be a fun change to watch them prep and cook. Despite business it didn’t take long for food. However food was not bad, but not necessarily great. Biscuits and gravy was ok, although very stingy with the gravy. Asked for more and was charged extra $3. Soda was almost$5, was not refilled during meal. Chicken & waffles, waffles didn’t have a taste and although cooked, they needed more to make them a bit more crispy & have flavor. Chicken was odd puck shape which didn’t give an appetizing look, should be a chicken tenders look. And again VERY stingy with maple syrup. You can see one container, half filled for 4-pieces of waffles, was no where enough. Yes I could have said more to waiter but I’m not a complainer. I would definitely try again. Instead of adding 4% service charge, just increase prices. This tactic of padding the bill is ridiculous, although done by many.

My spouse and I are here enjoying our 5 year anniversary, and what an amazingly special visit it’s been! ❤️ Chuck and Trevor both went above and beyond to make our dining experience an unforgettable one. From the amazing food, to the fun crafted drinks, to the BEAUTIFULLY made and very thoughtful dessert the brought us! One of our favourite parts of this trip, for sure. Thank you both so much!!! ✨️

Overall this restaurant was fine. You definitely need a reservation though or you’ll be waiting quite a while for a table (at least for dinner).
The food was okay, but not the best. We ordered Meatballs as an appetizer and they were still frozen in the middle, even though the cheese on the outside was completely melted. For our entrees they were good but not great. Their cocktails were also not a big hit, at least not the 13 Coins specific ones. The desert was really good though.

Went with my husband on my birthday for the first time and had a great experience. We enjoyed everything we ordered from our drinks to our appetizers which we got full from lol. Our server was amazing! We went on a Tuesday around 4pm and it was not too busy. Our compliments to all the staffs that run the place and especially to the chefs.

Wow! What an environment, vibe, and dining experience. Food was wonderful, service was great, prices were what was to be expected for the area.
Had 8 in our party, sat in a booth and with the size of the table it was quite comfortable, the booth has very awesome , tall sides so having a conversation was easy.
The food is prepared literally within eyesight, all the aromas from the kitchen pour throughout the restaurant. The downstairs area where the bathroom is located looks seriously like a hidden gem, going to have to go back for more!

It’s pretty bad when your guest tells you the following day: my Piccata dinner was terrible, “the first part seemed ok, but after a few bites I realized it wasn’t fully cooked… so I spit it out in my napkin & quit eating” … WHAT?

I grew up on 13 Coins, always loved dining at the old Seattle location and last few years have been only to SeaTac. So I thought what a better way to meet up with old friends than to treat them to dinner in Seattle. To summarize, I was sorely disappointed in the “trying” (but not really) service… why would you bring the bread & appetizer/relish tray WITH the dinner, I don’t understand (Tabitha)… why are people having to repeatedly request water refills & why couldn’t we get a printed copy of receipt as requested…? (Also, the wine pour was even stingier than the protein portions…)

The lackluster meal for four was so disappointing, I won’t (unfortunately) ever dine at this location again. (Don’t even get me started on the Chicken Parm — l will suffice it to say “let’s not use really thin squares of unappetizing, unrecognizable cheese to top the parm.”) —My SeaTac review from last visit was definitely 5 Star & the parm was PERFECT!

The total bill, over $200. We, in hindsight, should have chosen differently. (I think the winning meal of the evening was Auntie’s waffle .) The highlight of the night was the cool lobby with the engaging artwork; oh well…

Everything was great at the restaurant. Food was amazing, server was also amazing even with the party I was with. And he understood what I needed an wanted with not really asking. The atmosphere was so relaxing. I would recommend coming to this place, even to try it out once.

Down side the bathroom is downstairs, other that its all great.

Also downstairs is another bar area and a separate room (it looked like) to hold a party.
