The unique name and tempting menu got customers in the door, but the rich flavors and feeling of home kept them coming back again and again! The name 13 Bones comes from our specialty baby back ribs. In order to be a full rack, there must be 13 Bones. In addition to ribs, our extensive menu features steaks, chicken, seafood, pork and sandwiches, as well as appetizers and a kid’s menu. Our menu provides a variety of foods that will surely satisfy the whole family. With a focus on great food at affordable prices, our goal is to make you happy. We strive to give the extra-personal touch and get to know our customers.

I’d heard a lot about this place. Our server Kayla was amazing! Very pleasant and joyful. There was indeed a fun and family atmosphere. However, we were somewhat disappointed at the fact that they were out of several things we’d tried to order. The ribs were just WOW! I LOVED them! The steak on the other hand, wasn’t quite the quality I’d expected. But, overall this is no reason NOT to come back. I highly recommend this place for their chicken, salmon, and ribs. I WILL be coming back to give them another shot to make this 4 a 5.

While spending the day exploring the area, my family was hungry and looking for food food. We found 13 Bones and they delivered big time satisfying our rumbly tummies. We got 3 rack of ribs to share. The meat was juicy and falling of the bones. OH SO GOOD! We saved room for dessert and brought ribs home for leftovers. The peanut butter cheesecake was phenomenal. We loved this place!

After a day of touring the sites in Mt. Airy we drove to 13 Bones and we’re not disappointed. I had a half rack of Memphis BBQ ribs a salad and baked potato. My wife had the 8 oz. filet a salad and baked potato. The ribs were meaty an fall off the bone tender. The salads were served cold with their homemade dressing which was delicious. Even the baked potatoes were hot and fluffy. The portions were more than adequate so much so that we didn’t have room for dessert. Excellent service just made the meal perfect.

My family ate here and the food was great (for the most part)! They had some of the best blackened chicken I’ve had (it was pretty spicy)! My wife and father-in-law loved the ribs! The peanut butter pie was good too! My only complaint is that the sauteed vegetables had a very strange taste to them. I usually love sauteed veggies, but I couldn’t even eat these.

We used 13 Bones Catering as our caterer for our wedding in Pilot Mountain! Ellie and her team were incredible. Ellie did a few site visits with our wedding planner prior to our wedding day to ensure that she knew exactly where to set up. Our wedding planner praised Ellie as she was easy to work with and flexible with changing timelines/set ups due to potential rain. The food was delicious and the bar tenders served an awesome signature cocktail, as well as wine and beer. We are so happy with our experience with 13 Bones and we will definitely use them again in the future for large events!

Due to the popularity of the restaurant, we had a half hour wait before we were seated. Once at our table, service was quick and only short wait for our food. Great tasting food and well with the wait. Will be back!!!

We stopped off the highway for some yum yums and chose 13 Bones because we love some southern home cookin’. This place is total immersion to the restaurant being the cornerstone of family gatherings. It was just us but I definitely got a lemon with my ice water. It was Meatloaf Tuesday so we jumped in. The grilled chicken atop vegerice was nothing to play with. You go ahead and get yourself a T-shirt for $20, $25 for long sleeve while your waiting to pay at the front. Definitely grab a toothpick.
