Used to come here pretty regularly for their ayce lunch but now that I’m always busy throughout the day, I opt for their salmon lover combo for takeout. Their fish has always been good quality and for 10 salmon nigiri + spicy salmon (with miso soup and salad) costing only $19+tax, it’s definitely bang for your buck!
My only critique is for ayce the rolls and sushi are pretty rice heavy and you get full pretty quick off of just rice.

Fresh, delicious sushi and other food! I loved how they used brown rice which is healtheir for you, also they did not over use soy sauce on their dishes.
One of the best spots in Durham Region! The staff were very friendly and accommodated my glutten free needs. They were always busy and had people waiting for a table when we left. Our first time here and we will be back!

Probably the best sushi AYCE restaurant to date for me. We enjoyed all of our dinner selections except for the pizza/cutlets. We sampled the sashimi, all beef options including or favorite short ribs, curry chicken, chicken fried rice, beef chow mein, green and crab salad, edamame, seaweed salad, and desserts. Loved the food presentation. Friendly and fast servers. Comfortable table set up and ambiance. Would visit again.

Came in for lunch and this was a great AYCE experience, for just the two of us it was $56! All cooked items were super fresh, and the sushi was great! Wish the sushi bar/assembly was visible to the dining guests as it’s something I’m used to from various other AYCE and A la carte restaurants; and quite frankly makes me feel more secure that the food and fish are fresh and the area is clean. Regardless of that, it was a fantastic experience, the customer service is also great, they are tentative and very polite. The hand rolls were incredible, and the presentation of the food was also great! One thing was the salmon could have been a bit better, but it could have been an off day.
Coming from Toronto it’s been a bit difficult to find a good sushi spot and this place definitely might become our usual spot.

Our go to all-you-can-eat sushi spot. The salmon is so fresh. Torched salmon sushi is incredible! Service is quick and they have so many options.

This Japanese restaurant left a truly wonderful impression on me, primarily because of its spacious layout, the simple yet elegant decor, and, most importantly, the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The servers consistently provided excellent service—they were gentle and polite when serving dishes, proactive in refilling our tea without us needing to ask, and even kindly inquired if we wanted ice cream after finishing our meal. Such thoughtfulness really stood out.
After we finished eating, my friends and I wanted to stay a bit longer to continue chatting, and we felt slightly guilty about possibly occupying their time. However, the servers, with warm smiles on their faces, reassured us that it was absolutely no problem and encouraged us to relax and enjoy our time. They mentioned that they still had plenty of time before their shift ended, which made us feel incredibly welcome and appreciated as guests. This level of hospitality truly enhanced our experience and made it unforgettable.
The food itself was also quite tasty, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. However, to be perfectly honest, for an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) restaurant, the variety of dishes felt a bit limited compared to other similar establishments. Nevertheless, it was sufficient to satisfy most cravings. One notable downside was the absence of miso soup, which I felt was a classic and essential Japanese offering. To enhance the menu, I would suggest adding tofu dishes or iconic Japanese items like soba noodles. These additions wouldn’t significantly increase the cost but would undoubtedly elevate the menu’s authenticity and appeal.

This is definitely my favourite sushi restaurant of all time. Fast service, consistently excellent food quality and relaxed. You can see how much we ordered because we were so blown away from the food!

Amazing sushi! The fish was fresh, the rolls were creative, and the presentation was beautiful. Service was friendly and quick, and the ambiance was clean and relaxing. Highly recommend the Toronto Roll and the chef’s special burnt Salmon. Will definitely be coming back!

This spot still holds strong being our favourite spot for sushi around the area, as previous bad/mediocre experiences at 3 other locations just didn’t justify any change.
We’ve been buying takeout more often, so we can stay home and eat in a relaxed setting after a long day/week at work.
The most recent time, I noticed the sui mai was not as good as usual. Not sure if they changed recipe/vendor or it was just an off batch.

They corrected it for us and said whatever was already served is ok. Service was pretty fast, except near the end when some of the staff went on break.
Food: The raw fish is always fresh here. The sushi and maki are generous sizes.
Cost: Pricing for children are very fair. We noticed they have “lunch” and “big lunch” pricing, we inquired and was told the big lunch included additional selections but don’t know what it they were specifically.
We’ve previously ordered takeout and ate at home during covid.

An excellent choice for a lunch spot especially on weekends. Hand rolls are amazing here, General Tao and Beef Teriyaki also winner dishes. Spicy Crab Roll Sushi would be my favorite large roll by far. Soup was cold this time around, usually is always served hot, was probably a one off this time around.
