I cannot say anything about food other than a dessert that was decent.
Service was ok. Little slow and a few hiccups but was working to help. Not sure if new crew but the flow wasn’t set.
Drinks, were why our group stopped, it did not make it easy. Out of many beers, the balance on the cocktails moved from medicinal to slight aftertaste or hint of.
You be the judge but recommend sticking with wha you normally order if available.
The host welcomed us with a smile, & seated us in a booth, like we asked. My partner & I perused the menu, & were surprised by how a relatively small restaurant could have such a wide array of choices. They had a decent selection of salads, which can have the protein of your choice added, for an additional cost.
You can get one of 3 Italian-bent sandwiches, or a Philly Cheese sandwich, with Tri-tip, which looked like a tasty option.
They also offer a nice selection of Mains, including Fish & Chips, Pork Chop, Bison Meatloaf, Short Rib, Salmon, Lasagna & several more choices.
Prices were a bit on the high side, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked really good. They offer 7 pub-list appetizers, something for any taste palette. We ended up choosing the Sweet Potato Fries, which came out hot, & were thinly-sliced and crispy. The nice size order of reddish orange fries were topped with sea salt & parsley.
127 West Social has a small bar area, with bar stools, plus they have an epic list of 20 draft beers on tap, with some really good choices, including Pliny the Elder DIPA, from Russian River Brewing.
I chose a 10oz. pour of Une Ane’e Belgian Tripel, which I loved! They also offer a limited list of wines.
They have 9 different Stone-Fired Pizzas, & we chose the Fugetaboutit Pizza, $23, which had their delicious homemade red sauce, fennel sausage, mozzarella & fresh basil. This was a thick crust, medium-sized pizza, which arrived at our table piping hot. The pizza was so tasty, plus we ended up taking 3 slices home, since we were stuffed.
The service was friendly, & just a bit on the slow side, as we were there during a busy time, & our server was racing about, trying to give service to a large number of tables.
One thing this restaurant/pub definitely needs are new or re-upholstered booths. For a lot of Mom & Pop restaurants these days, this is not in the budget, but I can always dream, can’t I?
All in all, I liked this place, & I’ll most certainly return again.
I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent food and top level service!! I will definitely return here if in the area!!
I ordered the Bison Meatloaf and really liked it. It came with mashed potatoes and some mixed veggies. A couple people in our group got the fish and chips, which weren’t the best. I think they said the batter was a little soggy/squishy. Other than that, people ordered salads, a pizza, and the steak sando and everyone seemed happy with their orders.
Service was really good. Our server was very attentive and our drinks were never left empty.
Definitely would recommend this restaurant if looking for nicer dining spots in Fallbrook.
