Thanks to Chef Joses upbeat personality in a overwhelming setting my wife and I had a wonderful Valentines dinner and the chocolate covered strawberries were a delicious touch for our romantic evening. We will be visiting again just for Chef Jose.

I’m staying at the Hilton, where this restaurant is in. There’s a conference of 50,000 people here. After a day on sessions, I come to have a late dinner before closing. I’m always told (4 times already!) that there’s going to a 20 minute wait on the count that there are not enough staff to serve. Ok. I ordered steak and fries and this is what I get (see picture). When I asked, “Where’s the fries?” The answer was: “Sorry.” Sorry. That’s it? This is not good for Hilton. I feel like I’m in a “peasant” hotel restaurant! Where’s the classy Hilton I used to know? Hire more servers!
Get your act together!
Disappointed in Indianapolis,
Les

I stopped in at 120 West Bar & Grill for a snack Saturday night before heading up to my hotel room. I ordered simple food … a house salad and their house-made potato chips and French onion dip. I received my order and headed up to my room to get comfortable. The salad was very basic… lettuce, cherry tomatoes and a little cucumber. It was good but hardly seemed worthy of the $8 cost. I also ordered the potato chips and French onion dip for $12. The price was a bit high but it seemed like the most economical option on the menu for a light-ish snack. Everything on the menu, in my humble opinion, was overpriced. I grew up with French onion dip that was sour cream and onion soup mix and just good. When I opened the 120 West dip, it looked like a curdled mess. It smelled like onion dip but looked like the attached pictures. So, I dressed back up and took the dip downstairs to the grill. They looked at it and said “no, it shouldn’t look like that” and they proceeded to give me fresh chips and dip. I went back up to my room and got comfortable again and opened it up and it was exactly the same curdled mess. I don’t know if it was laziness giving me the same problematic dip again or just if the dip is supposed to be that way and they didn’t take the time to tell me that but I couldn’t eat it. The house made chips were mostly cold and soggy and oversalted from sitting around all day. Overall, for $12, this appetizer was terrible and I was very disappointed. I did speak to someone at the front desk about this in the morning and received a refund but, this was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t eat there again when in town.

I stay at the Hilton once or twice a month but had never tried food from120 West Bar and Grill until today. I have ordered drinks and the bartender is amazing! I ordered the French cut chicken, it was delicious! As well as the bacon mashed potatoes and the broccoli was fantastic with maple sauce that came on the chicken and mashed potatoes. I will be back for breakfast in the morning!
This is my first ever review but it was that good!!

The food and service was good..HOWEVER… even after buying dinner and drinks I was denied access to the bathroom because I wasn’t a hotel guest. Get real.. it’s a public restaurant. Fix your methods.

Pretty disappointing, especially considering it’s the Hilton. When we arrived on a Wednesday at 7pm, it was completely empty except for a few people at the bar. We first were brought 2 different menus, with different items, before asking about the discrepancy. The menu has few items on it, and most are considered pub fare.
The sliders were pretty good, and I attempted to order the signature burger. However, I was brought just the regular burger instead. The price isn’t terrible, but if you’re eating at the Hilton, just go next door to McCormick and Schmick’s.

Mark is one of the best bartenders I have ever met. We have came for conference once a year for many, many years and he remembers most if not all of our specific drink orders, which is a talent in its self. Very kind and awesome man! Thank you Mark!! Hilton better not let this gem go!!

Terrible. Staying at hotel for convention, came in for breakfast, Eggs Benedict came hard cook.
Came with a group of 9 for dinner, no one was in there and took forever to eat, get drink refills. 6 of us ordered onion soup, was terrible; no flavor like they added water to stretch it.
I ordered the mushroom pizza, raw on bottom.
Terrible. Wasn’t this bad in parts, stay here every year
