Delicious food! Huge portions! The meat was good and tender. The sides were incredible!!!
My partner and I ordered the turkey sandwich with brie and it was one of the best things we ate in Asheville. I ordered the collard greens and spicy cheese grits. I’ve grown up on collard greens and these are some of the best collard greens I’ve eaten. My partner got the corn pudding and Mac n cheese and he greatly enjoyed both.
The servings are large! My partner and I both had enough food to eat our leftovers for dinner.

I heard about 12bones from a local at the hostel I am staying at. I only have the picture of the leftovers I have, showing how plentiful the portions are!! It’s a self serve sit down location with plenty of seating including a more relaxed couch area or outdoor benches. I ate about 5/9 ribs they gave me (ordered a half rack, with cornbread and collards as my side)- It did not disappoint! I hade the blueberry chipotle and the brown sugar rub which I ate it up after going to bearmellow mtn trail and found it Stella! They also have a taproom where I got to try various 12bones brewery IPA and a sour. All beers were delicious!

Delicious barbecue, great drinks, lots of space for groups and children. They have clearly labeled allergen info for gluten free and vegetarian customers. The staff are always willing to answer questions to ensure my meal is safe. This is a regular spot for us when friends and family come to visit us. Close to the airport and easy to park. Definitely worth a visit!

Great casual atmosphere. Damn Good Corn Pudding & Blueberry Chipotle ribs are delicious as well as the Smoked Wings. Then hit the Taproom to try Peanut Butter Porter is on point.

Came in late in the evening (~7pm), so keep that in mind.
The ribs were a little dry, to be honest. They were still good, but I think I can make better ribs at home.
My gf thinks it’s because the ribs were a little old, and maybe getting there earlier in the day would have been more ideal.
Sauces were good, beer was good. 4/5

BEST wings I’ve ever had. Period. Sliced brisket was incredible. All the sides we got were awesome as well. Everything was gluten free as well

Food is Ok. Counter order. Impeccable service. Did not try the brewery. Ordered Blueberry Chipotle Ribs, Mac and cheese, and Greens. Greens were the best thing on the plate, a lil spicy. Also tried the snaked wings. It’s okay.

Mid, at best. Highly disappointed in the brisket. Dry, lacking flavor, and very very lean. The pork ribs and the collards were the highlight of the dinner and that’s not really saying a ton.
Got the salt and pepper and the brown sugar ribs. Both were good but most guys in their backyard could probably do as good if not better, just probably not at scale. Ribs had more chew than I prefer but were flavored well.

I’ve heard about this place, so I decided to check it out. It has a cool atmosphere, but that’s it. I got the brisket plate, mac n cheese, and collards. It’s a pay before you eat, so I had a low bar. The food came out fast. The brisket was dry, and the Mac n cheese was bland and not good. The collards were really good. It felt like cafeteria food. The lady at the register was unhappy and miserable. Overall I wouldnot recommend going here. We got a few extra sides, and it’s pricy and not good bbq. What a waste of money.
