This spot is tucked away in the north end of Danville’s downtown, close to Alamo — a really nice area. We were actually a bit surprised to find a Thai place here with such good Google reviews. It’s a small, cozy spot with just a few tables and a pretty cool vibe.

We ordered some of their signature dishes: Fire Prawns, mango salad, and crispy chicken.

The mango salad was fresh and tasty. The Fire Prawns were flavorful with a nice spicy kick, though they looked a little different (and smaller) compared to the Yelp photo credited to Kristen Murakoshi for the SF Chronicle. The crispy chicken, unfortunately, wasn’t crispy at all and was pretty tough to chew — not sure why it’s called “crispy.” The good news is they refunded that dish right away, which was nice customer service.

Most of the dishes (except the salad) were on the salty side. If they toned down the salt a bit, it would make the flavors pop more and be a lot healthier too.

Great food! The tom kha gai (chicken coconut soup) was excellent as was the calamari appetizer. Pad Thai was very good. The spicy eggplant was too spicy for me but I’m a wimp. I think my friends liked it. Service was great.

We are visiting this place every few months and the quality and service are always really good. Food is always delicious with lot of flavors. I got choo chee salmon, that was absolutely delicious and with tasty yellow squash cubes on the side. Salmon was tender and juicy, while squash was done right – not over boiled.
Excellent home like service. Will keep going there 🙂

Red curry is DELICIOUS and jasmine rice is the best I’ve had, through several times being there. My food was made quickly and the workers were very nice. The atmosphere was homey and comforting.

We arrived at 5. And waited for 53mins for food. The kids started eating their snacks because they were way too hungry.
No service. The people are nice but no service.

Finally the food. Extremely bad. Kapow is not authentic at all. It’s the worst Kapow I ever had.
The shrimp was so pad. Pork is not fresh. Very bad. Very smelly.

I would not recommend this place for anyone. I would not come back ever again

Exactly what it claims. Authentic delicious Thai food. They have dishes from both north and south Thailand which is a plus. Crispy chicken with basil and fried rice were delicious and very flavorful.
Khao soi was yummy and one of the better ones I’ve had without them just doubling and tripling down on just heat as the main flavor. Only slight oddity was not getting the Khao soi toppings like peanuts , onions, scallions etc served with it. All that being said 10/10 and I see why this spot is highly rated.
Gluten free and vegan main course and apps options. Their coconut Ice cream is also gluten free and vegan and delicious!

Update: lowering one star due to fairly underwhelming service. Not rude service but just had to flag someone every time something even as simple as silverware was needed or when we had to order. Secondly I got the basil crispy chicken which was very stringy ,overdone and extra chewy.

I ordered a crying tiger salad. What I got was an overcooked well done piece of cheap steak on a bed of romaine lettuce lol. I cannot believe a Thai person would would do this so something had gone terribly wrong. No shallots, no cilantro, not even remotely resembling their own photo. I NEVER leave reviews so understand how bad this must be for me to have taken the time to do this. I have fed it to the dog.

The Thai food of this restaurant is for Americans, Asian may find the food to be too sweet.
Service was good, but only 2 people took care of all customers so expect no fast service.

I think this place serves good thai foods. Chicken sate is so nicely grilled(or charboiled) flavorful!! A variety of vegetables are chopped up and mixed up, deep fried, what stands out to me is this roll is hand-made. It tastes peppery, nutty. Drunken noodle is so spicy, salty but ok taste to me. Value for money!!
