The meal was worth every cent.
We spent the evening dining at this restaurant after my daughter’s Hooding Ceremony for her master’s degree. This choice was spot on. We had late-evening reservations and were seated on time, with the best choice—half booth and table—excellent for the elders.
The Pumpkin White Russian cocktail… let’s just say we had a few, between my daughter taste-testing mine and my mother letting her hair down and enjoying hers
The server, who thought I was the aunt (yet I’m the mother), made me feel young again at my ripe old age of 56
The menu is farm-to-table; therefore, it changes. I’m knowledgeable and understanding of seasonal food changes because I’m a farmer in Smyrna, Delaware—so kudos to the chef.
I’ll wrap this up by saying, if you’re looking to have top-notch service and dine in an environment that justifies your splurge… this restaurant checks off all the boxes. We dined with a guest list of 8.

The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and you can truly taste the quality in every dish. You can absolutely tell it is farm to table like they say. The atmosphere is beautifully romantic, perfect for a night out together, but still comfortable enough to celebrate any occasion.
It is definitely on the pricier side, but honestly it is worth every penny. This place never disappoints and has become such a special place for us. Highly recommend!
Lastly, I rarely complain about price-I realize inflation is real and folks need to pass this along. But I have a $75/person limit for work dinners and we went over. Keep in mind only half of us had anything to drink and I only had one (tiny) beer because I could tell we were going to be hitting our limit. No appetizers, just 2 orders of biscuits.
Unfortunate as I’ve been here over a dozen times and it used to be good, but I’ll be taking work people elsewhere moving forward.
we are shopping for a place to have my daughters wedding dinner (30-35) people so we came here to check it out:
Tonight we had oyster appetizer (WOW), pork belly/ beans-both were amazing but oysters are a stand out!!
For dinner we had the bone in strip and the scallops- both were cooked to perfection
Our waiter, Beau was so personable, knowledgeable and provided such an intimate experience for us. He did highly recommend the oysters and scallops and both did not disappoint.
We had the opportunity to also meet Chef Heather and she was wonderful.
You are missing out if you do not patronize this establishment
