I’ve never been to a speakeasy before, so this was a fun first experience. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and the kind of place you immediately want to settle into. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends and actually enjoy the conversation. I had the lavender tea and my friend ordered the strawberry sour—both were absolutely delicious. Everything from the drinks to the vibe made this a place I’d happily come back to.

As someone thats been to a Speakeasy of two let me be clear this is not the traditional Speakeasy. That said this place is still fantastic and I maintain the 5 star rating. Three of my favorite people and I went for my birthday this weekend and we had a fantastic time! Dakota is an amazing mixologist and created some truly phenomenal cocktails for us. Not only did she create them but she was very knowledgeable of the different liquors that she used. This is definitely a favorite for me and my friends and will definitely be back.

Fantastic time, atmosphere and cocktails. The blueberry shortbread cocktail was one of if not the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life. Cannot recommend higher.

great craft drinks, there was one bartender/mixologist who was very busy. Your drinks were slow but she was working very hard to get everyone there drinks. The drinks they make are not your basic rum and coke do they do take time to make. It was very busy for one person to take care of everyone that was there, which is no fault of hers, she did great! We were there in the evening on 11/8. I do not recall the mixologist name but I want to make sure she gets the recognition she is due! The drinks were worth the wait. Great selections to choose from. This is a drinks only spot.

Such a unique and classy bar with an old fashioned flare. The drinks on the menu were fantastic and some I either haven’t seen available or had even hear of before. What a fun relaxing low key place to lounge or sit at the bar. I really enjoyed the vintage look especially the lighting. Whether you are from the area or passing thru this place is a MUST! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. They really have it going on.

My girlfriend and I recently went for our anniversary and the place blew us away with how good it looked inside. The rail is nice but if you don’t want to sit at the bar there are super comfortable chairs with small tables between them. The patio was WOW. On a nice evening it’s perfect. It’s right on the river boardwalk so the natural view is lovely.
Now on to the drinks. Dakota the bartender knows exactly what’s up. As a bartender myself I really appreciated the craft put into their specialty cocktails. We were given a little more info about some of the ingredients used in the drinks and we made a lot of great chitchat with our bartender.
It ended up being a lot better than what I had imagined. It was definitely on a level that could be compared to a nice cocktail bar in a larger city.
Any time I go back to Portland I will make a point to stop in.
