As a party of 5, we came here on a Wednesday evening at 6pm and we had to wait 20 minutes (at bar!). The customer service was great; servers are friendly! The food was delicious, a tad over seasoned in my opinion and still overall very delicious. The elk stew (not pictured) is very good!

Wow such a wonderful restaurant. The vibe, service, food and drinks were next level. The elk corn chowder and Lamb Bolognese were nothing like we’ve had before.

A lovely place to eat with excellent service, a great atmosphere and very tasty food at a reasonable price. There’s a very good selection of varied dishes and drinks.
I ordered a pork chop pizza and it was huge! And also full of flavour. Thankfully they’re happy to box food up to take home.
I will definitely be going back to try something else.

I came across this restaurant while driving and decided to make a stop. Even on a weekday, it was quite busy, especially for a Thursday night, which speaks to its popularity. Despite that, I didn’t need a reservation. The atmosphere felt classy and perfect for a night out with friends or family, especially if you’re looking to enjoy good food with a glass of wine.
We tried the pizza, steamed mussels, and cheesecake—all of which were delicious. I was particularly impressed with the interior decor, which added to the overall dining experience. I would definitely go back again!

We LOVED it! The food was excellent! I had scallops and pasta, the scallops were cooked perfectly. My husband had their special – a filet stroganoff. Again, perfectly cooked. The salads were also very fresh and crisp. Service was also great – overall an excellent experience!

First restaurant in Maine as non-locals was a total success!! My sister and friend had just landed in Portland and immediately drove up here to catch this gem of a place before closing! We got here an hour before and I will say initially the hostess was a little snide because it was closer to their closing time, but our waiter was so awesome and welcoming, especially once we td him this was our first time here! He explained everything on the menu perfectly and had awesome recommendations for us! We all got light food and the portions were well in size and overall not incredibly overpriced! The drink menu looked phenomenal with a large variety of cocktails, dessert martinis, beer, and wine. The actual dinner menu had a large selection of apps, vegetarian dishes, and dishes with meats in them and all very curated for the culture up here! The dessert menu was very diverse depending on your craving. Overall, it did not disappoint!! Great for a little girls night like ours or for a date night with a loved one!

Solid food with good service. Be prepared to wait quite a while for your food though.

We really enjoyed our dinner at 11 Central. The elk chowder bowl is huge and really filling. Everyone else enjoyed their pasta as. We finished it with pumpkin cheesecake that was really light and delicate. Our server was superb. The place inside is a little dark so it gets hard to see.
There are free parking on the side of the street

Gluten free … Chicken Parm ..not good. Really spicy and salty. Potatoes equally salty and over cooked..kind of a burnt taste. Waited a very long time to get food. The Cesar salad was barely anything on the plate. Brought it out with croutons… Had to take it back and get new next to nothing salad. Couldn’t eat the dinner either as the spiciness and salt prevented me from eating more than a few bites. Server was hardly interested in us or the need for gluten free. Though he was nice when he was around. Won’t be back… And am currently hoping I don’t get ill from eating where they say they do gluten free well… But proved to me that they don’t.

Central is a very good dining option if you are in Bangor. The restaurant has a very welcoming and warm feeling with its exposed brick walls and lighting. The whisky sour with mint was fairly adventurous tasting like a mojito with whisky.
I tried the elk corn soup which was more like a hearty chili. The flavor came together well. It was so hearty it could be a meal in itself. My scallops as main course were good but the scallops were not in abundance and the dish was more pasta based than I would have expected. The menu is expansive ranging from the seafood to pizza. More menu focus may be better. Server staff were pleasant and accommodating. Overall, I would return and like to try some of the other dishes.
