We are no ordinary Taphouse and Burger Bar. This historic location was initially erected in 1900 and has been a staple of downtown Ketchikan, Alaska since then. 108 Taphouse and Burger Bar is one of the Cape Fox Corporation Commerical family of restaurants. It provides everyone with a meal they love and the ambiance they seek, and they do it with their unique brand of Alaska style. You can get handcrafted spices, burgers made from elk, and drinks that are like works of art in a glass. Try the Shiacha/honey wings! Spicy, sweet delicious! Super tender, crispy outside. I had the peach moonshine Arnold Palmer…this, inhouse, crafted cocktail is a one of a kind. The people here are, friendly and very pleasant to be around. The overall atmosphere reminded me of an old fashioned, hole in the wall sort of place. IN THE BEST SORT OF WAY!! Quite possibly the best burger I’ve had, ever!! We came by for dinner and had a great experience. The place is super small, only a few tables and some seats at the bar, but I absolutely loved that. The atmosphere was super energetic! They have a great list of local beers and their liquor selection was also quite impressive. We ordered a few brews but the bartender was slinging some really fancy, and tasty, looking cocktails. The food menu was equally impressive with a large number of burger options to choose from. We started off with an order of wings, which had very tasty hot sauce, but moved quickly to order dinner as the whole place smelled of delicious burgers. A few of us ordered the 108 Burger and one of us ordered the Pacific Northwest burger. The 108 burger was absolutely phenomenal!! The flavor was insane and paired very well with the 108 fries that came with it. Everyone enjoyed their burger so I can’t imagine you can go wrong with any of them. This place is a must visit, whether you’re here for a few days or a few hours. Excellent experience!!

I order a Cowboy burger with onion rings and my college a chicken burger with fries, really really good and well presented.
For dessert we ordered the churros with cinnamon and ice cream, which really left us wanting more. Thanks for this great culinary option.

Highly recommend as your lunch or dinner stop in Ketchikan. I’m from Buffalo and their wings were better than most Buffalo bars. The burger was delicious, beer was excellent, servers and bartender were very friendly and kind.

Great little pub for a quick bite to eat. The coleslaw is savory with a hint of citrus and a little sweet tang. The chickens sandwich was fresh and tender. This is a great stop if you’re in between excursions like we were. Yummy!

Had 3 burgers in a week, this place kept me fed when everything else was closed. Fries are that perfect fluffy inside with crunchy outside. Burgers are well thought out artisan style with double patties. I got the main street, firehouse, and banh mi burgers; main st was my fave.

Delicious burgers and Alaskan beer. They had a sour on tap! I had the Main Street Burger, which has goat cheese. The jalapenos weren’t too spicy, and I subbed the sauteed onions with the onion straws. It was huge, so I took half for leftovers. My friends each got a different burger, and the next day other friends said their favorites were different than the ones we enjoyed–so there is an option for everyone to love! I recommend stopping by for a beer and burger.

I really enjoyed my meal here, and the bartender working while I was there is amazing. Service was friendly and good, they definitely have their hands full but I was taken care of. My 108 salad was delicious, the raspberry vinaigrette was so great I had to ask for a little more to go with it, which my server happily provided. I got the tempura mushrooms as a starter and I highly recommend them, so delicious!
I regret not getting a mixed drink, because the bartender was so friendly, entertaining, and clearly talented. I will say that $8 for a beer is insane and I would never recommend getting beer here. The prices are high, but it’s good service and great food.
