Went on a Thursday night. Lots of talking, crowded, and the live musician wasn’t great. Saw our server 3 times the whole night. Took an hour to get food. She gave us the wrong drink, after 15 minutes of waiting. Charged us for a drink we never received. The food was okay but 3 people in our party got sick; like coughing and sore throat. Weird. Plantain Crusted Grouper ($30) had 5 pieces of broccoli (supposed to be cauliflower), Portobello flatbread ($16) was burnt on the bottom, and the Crab stuffed salmon ($32) had 4 pieces of asparagus; definitely not worth the price.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We ate there twice during our trip to the area. The food was delicious. Our food was made to order and fresh. The portion sizes were big, a shareable size! The servers were very good and attentive. We enjoyed the fried calamari, Burgers, chicken sandwich and the half of chicken. The meat was moist and tasty. My son loved the grilled cheese, they made it with the cheese he requested! We can’t wait to visit the area again to eat there again.

We had the arugula and prosciutto flatbread along with the Cobb salad, and we would definitely order both again. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu, and the bar staff was fast and friendly. The atmosphere—just steps from the beach—made the experience even better. Does it get any better than that?

Absolutely the had the best experience here. Took my mom and brother when they came into town. Our server though was alone on the floor gave use wonderful service and attention. But the food???? WOW!!! So flavorful! So fresh! So beautifully presented!! We are foodies and noticed every detail and tasted every seasoning/spice! The salad had strawberries that didn’t seem just regular strawberries. They exploded with sweetness. The salmon was cooked to perfection and that goes for the shrimp as well. The buffalo wings were requested xcrispy and the cooks delivered just that. The fries even tasted extraordinary! Way to go 101 Ocean can’t wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed 101 Ocean in Ft. Lauderdale by the Sea. The food was tremendous, the service was a great as our waiter, Blake, was funny and personable and quick with our drinks and food. The manager, Ozzie, came to our table twice to make sure we were satisfied with service and food. Then Carlos the owner came by and we had a great conversation with the fabulous immigrant who is a very successful owner of this restaurant and two child care centers. He came to America with pennies in his pocket and look at him now. So visit this great restaurant and try the Spinach and Crab Dip. The best! We enjoyed sitting outside people watching…..that’s also a lot of fun.

We had a reservation, we show up. We’re seated immediately, which is great but then it took our server about 20 minutes to greet us. I had to go up for the hostess once to ask after waiting about fifteen minutes to see if our server is even aware we’re seated. I understand if you’re busy, but it takes two seconds just to approach your table and communicate to that to your customer. We ordered appetizers which were great and the drinks were good. Until we got our entrees. I had ordered the lobster mac and cheese, and it came out like a white liquid soup with the consistency of water. I never returned food, but I couldn’t let that one pass and pay forty dollars for it. After leaving I thanked the short brunette hostess for her help and she said, and I quote, “yeah, yeah” and walked away. I’ve been here many times never had any issues until now. not sure what’s going on with this place but it needs to be fix asap. Can’t believe I payed 300$ plus tip for this. Very very disappointed, and horrible customer service.

Very extensive menu. We have gone here twice and both times we had excellent and caring service. This is really rare for a tourist area in Broward County. Food was above par and we will be back.
