We started with the pretzels…they pretzels themselves were soft, moist, and perfectly seasoned. The dipping sauce, which was more of a smear, was also really good and complimented them well.
We also shared an order of candied bacon. Just do it.
For entrees, he had the pecan chicken, and gave it a 10/10. I had the avocado toast – it was like a delicious cream cheese, bruschetta, and avocado toast all in one and the egg was cooked just right.
Definitely recommend this as a brunch/lunch spot and will likely come back if in the area again.
The food had great value — everything was tasty and nicely presented.
Overall, a solid spot with good food and friendly service. I’d definitely come back.
I ordered the Apple & Brie Grilled Cheese, and wow—what a standout dish. The sourdough was perfectly toasted and crispy, the creamy Brie melted beautifully, and the slices of Gala apple added such a fresh, subtle sweetness that balanced everything out. The fig and honey jam brought a lovely touch of richness without being overpowering. It came paired with their butternut squash soup, which was velvety smooth, topped with spicy pepitas and ricotta chive cream—such a cozy, flavorful combo that elevated the whole meal.
My wife went with the Cuban sandwich (the Green Chili Pork version), and it was equally impressive. The hoagie roll was soft yet sturdy, packed with tender house-roasted green chili pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, arugula, and a zesty Dijon-horseradish mayo. Every bite had great layers of flavor—savory, tangy, and a little spicy kick. It was hearty and satisfying without feeling heavy.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, service was friendly and attentive, and the food felt thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients. If you’re in the area (Carmel or Fishers locations are great spots), definitely stop in—101 Craft Kitchen is doing elevated comfort food right. Highly recommend! 5 stars from us.
Food was average. The steak was overcooked and tasteless (requested medium but received almost well done). However, the side of potatoes and wings were good. Nothing really excited me about the menu. Mid experience overall.
