Tasty food in a comfortable atmosphere with great service. We got an appetizer and two entrees – food was very good, freshly prepared as advertised. Great textures and flavors, small gripe is all three of our dishes had a pretty strong sweet edge to them, a bit of spice or something to shine in contrast with the sweetness would’ve been great. Service was very attentive and quick, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and not stuffy or pretentious but still nice. Good variety on the menu, so we’ll be back to try some other dishes!

We’ve been in the Cincinnati area for six months and have dined in mom & pop joints and Jeff Ruby’s restaurants. Dinner last night at 101 Craft Kitchen is by far one of the BEST meals we have had in the state!
A whiskey & soda at $10 felt a little pricy but that is the only iffy thing about our experience.
It was a busy night so we had a drink at the bar while we waited about 20 mins for our table. Our server, Justin, was TOP NOTCH! When we go back, we will be asking for his section. He was attentive, friendly, professional, and personable. We order the Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer. They were cooked perfectly! Seasoned & paired with the most amazing glaze.
We went for the pork chops that we saw on a menu pic on Google but they were no longer on the menu so we opted for the pork schnitzel. We were NOT disappointed. The breading was light and crispy and meat cooked perfectly tender. The potatoes to die for!! The cabbage was tasty and not too strong like most can be when prepared that way. I got a side of the curry couscous salad. YUM!! The flavor was balanced and bold.
We finished the meal with molten cake that sent us right over the edge of satisfaction to stuffed! Hubs and I shared the app, meal, side and dessert and it was more than enough.
The entire experience was a 10/10!

I had the BEST experience at 101 in Mason!
First of all, the sun-dried tomato ricotta dip??? Absolutely unreal. The sweetness from the balsamic reduction on top paired with their house-made focaccia (yes, they make it in-house ) was next level. You can taste the quality. It’s not just food it’s beautifully crafted.
The sausage stuffed mushrooms? Chef’s kiss. Perfectly balanced. Savory, flavorful, not too heavy, absolutely perfect.
Best of all was the customer service. Stanley the bartender was incredible. So knowledgeable about the entire menu, genuinely charming, and you could tell he takes pride in what he serves. That makes such a difference.
Then the general manager, Matthew, came over to check on me and was so enthusiastic and passionate about the restaurant. He shared fun facts about the food and the concept behind it, and you could just feel how much they care. (it is hard to find such great service nowadays.)
All around, 10/10 experience. Amazing food. Incredible service. Great atmosphere. Scratch Kitchen, Healthy eatery!
I will absolutely be back.

Came here for a date night and we had a great time. It’s a very casual atmosphere and service was great. Everything on the menu looked delicious but we ended up going with the whipped ricotta dip, stroganoff, and fish and chips.
For a scratch restaurant with things made in house, the prices and portions are reasonable.
It’s also nice that they ask if there are any various allergies because they’re able to make substitutions with everything being made in house.
Great concept for a restaurant. Flavors were great, seasoning was on point and we’re wanting to come back soon and try more of the menu. Would highly recommend.

I used to live in Columbus, and was a fan of the location in Dublin, so I was pretty excited to see them make their way to Mason. At its core, the menu appears similar; they switch things up occasionally, so dishes come and go. The night we visited, everything I ate was excellent. The foccacia and the garlic oil it came with were super tasty. My casado bowl (with blackened shrimp) was packed with flavor and everything on the plate meshed well together. The apple butter cake for dessert was a 8.5 out of 10 — unique dessert, moist cake, and large enough to share. My lady had the fish and chips; the fish was over-cooked, but she said the flavors were good and the fries/tartar sauce were, too.
My first nitpick was with the foccacia — if you combine those four tiny slices, it’d be smaller than your average slice of bread. Even restaurants that give free bread give way more than this, and this wasn’t free. You’d need at least 4 orders of this to get a reasonable starter for two people. I am far from frugal when it comes to dining out, but I do expect portions to be reasonable. It costed $10 to add shrimp to my bowl, and it only came with 4 medium pieces of shrimp. Lastly, we waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out, and it wasn’t super busy that night. Apart from that, service was pretty good and everybody was pleasant. I definitely won’t write this place off because the food itself was really good. There are just some details they need to tighten up, and they’ve only been open for a couple months at this point. I’ll give them another chance.

This was our first time, and wow! We loved everything about it from the friendly hostess to our amazing and fun server, Jessica!! She had great recommendations, grilled chicken wings, sundried tomato ricotta dip, and the casado bowl. We enjoyed our food so much, we ordered dessert and the Mediterranean salad to go! Great vibes and loved the indoor/outdoor set up. We will definitely be back!

The place was beautiful – decorated well and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. We started with the Crab & Roasted Artichoke Toast. It is Lump Crab, Roasted Artichokes, Remoulade, Toasted Baguette, Fontina, Arugula, Tomatoes, Parmesan & Lemon Vinaigrette. This was an exceptional appetizer. It was spicy but not much if you like spicy dishes. The bread was firm on the outside and soft inside. The topping ingredients played very well together. Cherry tomatoes so they can easily be removed if you didn’t like them (I liked them but my wife passed on them). I had the Seared Salmon, which is Brown Butter Gnocchi, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Cremini Mushrooms, Shallots, Butternut Squash Purée & Maple Vinaigrette. Lots of places have salmon dishes but this one was one of the best tasting salmon I’ve had. Cooked well, not fishy or strong in any way. The gnocchi were little pillows of tastiness. The mushrooms were great and so were the perfectly cooked sprouts. The salmon was the star of the show but best supporting actor goes to the Butternut Squash Purée. I could eat a bowl of it like soup. My wife enjoyed the Fish & Chips, which is Beer-Battered Cod, Cider Vinegar Slaw, Housemade Tartar Sauce & Parmesan Fries. Surprised that this was a gluten-free dish. You would not know that about the batter on the fish. The fish was flaky, juicy, and had a great taste. A really great fried fish dish! We had some beer, wine, and I got a 2 oz pour of Blanton’s Straight-from-the-barrel. If you like flavorful Bourbon that packs a punch, it’s a great pour. Looking forward to another visit!

Love this place!! The ricotta tomato pesto dip is a must as well as the crab & artichoke toast. Butternut squash soup was amazing! And the spinach mushroom gnocchi in brown butter sauce was splendid! My kids also tried their flatbread & chicken sandwich, both were yummilicious! The cocktails were amazing as well (I’m running out of adjectives). I would most definitely go back again. Laura and Matt make the experience very special. Exceptional service, great ambiance. A must try!

We had a fantastic experience dining here decided its a favorite since moving to Cincy. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of service, attention to detail, menu options, portion sizes & affordable pricing. They also have lots of gluten-free options, including Fish and Chips – Not something we are usually able to have! We are looking forward to coming back 🙂

Loved the location and ambience of this restaurant and enjoyed a midweek family lunch in October. Service was friendly and quick. My family really enjoyed the food but my choices were limited due to a dairy intolerance and I felt the chicken wings were disappointing and the Nashville chips were very sweet which I didn’t like- I prefer mine spicy and salty. The pulled pork was good and the home made lemonade.
