Since I moved from Illinois I have not found a good Chinese food place until yesterday when I ordered at this place. They are #1 for sure! I ordered the combination fried rice and requested it spicy. It had so much meat in it. Every bite was meat full. And the rice was on point great flavor and delicious. Definitely will order again to see if this was real lol. The food was delicious!!

This was my first time here. The food was horrible. I ordered a vegetable fried rice with chicken. The chicken was an extra $5. You charged me $5 for a chicken wing portion size of meat. The vegetables were hard and not fully cooked. I also ordered egg foo young with no shrimp. How do you burn an egg (4 eggs). I asked for the sauce on the side they put the sauce in an oyster tray (box) instead of a container so by the time I got home my bag was completely soaked. The rice is burnt with no flavor even the gravy is bland. I should have went to wings or Fisherman island.

Even though my husband’s order was not made correctly I do plan to return to #1 chop suey. When I call the order in I asked for the Mongolian beef to be made spicy it was confirmed on the phone twice once I got the order home my husband ate his food because he did it like how it tasted it just was not made spicy as requested.

Recommended by an American lady and gave it a try. You’ll love their fried chicken wings, which have crispy chicken skins, juicy chicken meat, and smell so good. I also ordered a lo mein – combination, and I’m excited they have options to choose skinny pan fried noodle or bigger soft noodle. I’d been missing and looking for skinny pand fried lo mein.

Poor customer service and the food was gross! Lo Mein was slimy, the monogolian beef had no flavor and was full of onion, the general tso chicken tasted old and recooked, and the containers weren’t filled all the way up! Tossed it all.

I bought carry out for dinner. Jumbo shrimp fried rice and beef and broccoli with white rice. I’ve had the beef and broccoli before, delicious. The jumbo shrimp fried rice is full of shrimp and very tasty as well. I will definitely be back.
I would suggest you call your order in, especially on the weekends. They get very busy and it seems to be only 3 staff and that includes the woman taking orders, answering the phones and taking payment. If you don’t, you will be waiting, at minimum, 20 minutes. But I believe it’s worth it.

They were open on Christmas! This is really the only Chinese takeout place we like. I use to live 5 minutes away. Now 25 minutes away. Totally worth the drive!

9-4-25 all the food was just warm, as if it was reheated and not freshly cooked. Egg rolls, how can that be? Egg foo young, I do not believe there’s even a way to cook that just too warm. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and this is the first time just warm food sure in the past they’ve screwed a few things up, but nothing like this to make us walk away from this restaurant after 10 years. I called and asked if they even cared after I reported what had happened and she said okay bye-bye
