The menu has the usual takeout staples, and the portions were decent for the price, yet the quality varied—some items were fine while others tasted a bit bland or less fresh than expected. My order came out warm, but the textures weren’t great (soggy breading and overcooked rice). Service was polite, just not very attentive, and the overall place could use a bit more care. It works in a pinch, but there’s room for improvement in freshness and consistency.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years—it’s an OG spot in Ocala—but unfortunately, it’s just not like it used to be.
I called in an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived 10 minutes later, they hadn’t even started making it. I ended up having to wait an additional 10 minutes at the restaurant.
I ordered the fried rice and chicken wings along with a small side of shrimp fried rice.

Omg. There is a bug part in my food. They just cooked a roach or something in the chow mein. Just gross. I spit out the food and found the legs.

Placed a phone order, the male who answered said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and gave the total amount of $60, mind you I ordered 5 dinner meals. I arrived to pick up 25 minutes later, went inside and the food was in fact not ready for pick up. I had to sit and wait an additional 30 minutes. When the food was ready my total was $70, I told the cashier that I was told the total was $60 over the phone. He proceeded to say rudely “well the total is $70 not $60 like you were told.” Made it home just to find out the rice was hard and overall the food was not tasteful in a good way. I will not return to this establishment and I don’t recommend this place for a Chinese food takeout.
