All I wanted was one burger then they had on the window that if you have a debit card you have to spend a minimum of $10 so that forced me to buy a small drink that I didnt want. The burger was good but I won’t come back due to their trap.

My grandkids enjoy the food from this burger place. It is nice to bring my grandkids to a place I frequented as a kid, and where I would take their father and nephew when they were kids. Of course, it is not the same staff, but the food is still fantastic.

A great place to get food on Christmas Eve during a pandemic. Tables were closed for social distancing. The food was ready quickly. My husband and I shared a veggie burger, curly fries, & a chocolate shake. Portion sizes were decent, prices were a little expensive, but everything tasted delicious. I’d go back for sure.

I wanted to give it 4-star because of the price (which is a tad high for value), but damn if the staff here aren’t the cheeriest folks to me and my wife. I didn’t know burgers came with antidepressants because I always leave with a smile.

Wonderfully kind workers, a delicious classic burger and cheese fries. They were out of shakes the day we went. We sat outside and took in some sunshine. This isn’t a place to get a fancy burger, but if a solid basic classic burger is your vibe this is a good one!

I been going here since my early twenties and I always enjoy the service and the food. The bacon cheese burger is awesome and the fries are amazing! The early morning breakfast is great as well. Love always #brandonmaurice84

Got food poisoning immediately after having one of there burgers.

Update:
I’m adding this follow-up because when I initially posted my review the day after our visit, I was still extremely sick and not in a condition to fully explain

This place had been a childhood favorite of mine. I had been talking it up to my partner for months, telling her how it used to be my number one Giant Burger growing up. We had gone to several Giant Burger locations over the years, but this one always held a special place for me, so I was genuinely excited to finally bring her here and share that experience.

Unfortunately, it was a massive letdown from the moment we arrived.

Right away, I noticed a large mayo container sitting out that was visibly yellowed and discolored, which immediately raised concerns about food safety. At the same time, I had been on the phone with a friend who warned me that this location had gone downhill badly and mentioned prior issues with service and even a racially charged incident. My gut told me we should leave and go somewhere else.

I didn’t listen to that instinct. Food is food, and I love a good burger, so against better judgment, we stayed. That was a mistake.

The service was extremely short, cold, and off-putting. There was no warmth or care, just a rushed “what do you want and bye” attitude that didn’t inspire confidence in how the food was being handled. But again it’s a burger joint, what’s to be expected service wise.

We took our food home, and within hours both my partner and I became violently ill. This was not mild discomfort. It was the worst food poisoning either of us has ever experienced. We were both completely taken out, and almost had to go to the hospital.

It was genuinely upsetting because this place had meant something to me. What was once a go-to spot I trusted had clearly declined in both quality and care.

I would strongly recommend skipping this location entirely. If you’re craving a solid burger, go to Sparky’s in the Oakland Hills or Lana’s in downtown instead.

I really wish this experience had gone differently, but I won’t be returning.

This is a Bay Area classic. Food is made to order, always fresh and customer service ensures order details. I was born and raised in the Bay but reside in Atlanta now. Yet, every time I come home, this is a MUST HAVE and I highly recommend this establishment.

Best strawberry shake I’ve had in a long time. Chili cheese fries were really good, but the fries needed to be cooked longer. Philly cheesesteak is super solid. Very good. Fresh ingredients. Everything was made fresh, and I love that for me. Lol. I’ll be back this week for another shake.
