We didn’t end up eating here because we received essentially no service. We arrived around 6 p.m. and stood at the entrance for almost 10 minutes. There was no sign indicating self-seating or asking guests to wait to be seated, and the restaurant was only half full and not busy. Two staff members were working – one serving tables and one at the front desk. Both saw us multiple times and repeatedly walked past us while serving other tables, completely ignoring us. It became clear that if we didn’t go up and ask ourselves, we would have continued to be ignored.

This place was recommended by a friend for its Korean BBQ, and since four friends were visiting me, we decided to try it together. Only after we approached the front desk did he point us to a table. Even then, we were never served, while other tables continued to receive food and attention. A simple sentence acknowledging us would have taken zero effort, but apparently that was too much.

English-speaking customers were clearly being served, so language was not the issue. Most other tables appeared to be Korean. I don’t know whether this was discrimination or just terrible management, but either way it was unacceptable.

We left and went to another Korean restaurant next door, where we were welcomed and served immediately. If you want Korean food, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

To start with the good– was able to be seated quickly and the service was quick–two things which was very much appreciated. Now the not so good– the food was not the greatest. We had the bibimbap hot bowl which not only lack flavor but also severely lack bulgogi. It was more rice than anything.

I indulged in a delightful dining experience, savoring the following exquisite dishes:
1️⃣ Kimchi Jjigae with Grilled Mackerel
2️⃣ Spicy Soft Tofu Soup with Stir Fried Spicy Pork
3️⃣ Nae Jang Tang

The initial offering, Kimchi Jjigae, erred on the side of excessive sweetness and saltiness; however, the Grilled Mackerel provided a satisfactory balance. The second course was a gustatory delight, with the Spicy Soft Tofu Soup and particularly the Stir Fried Spicy Pork showcasing exceptional flavors. As for the third dish, Nae Jang Tang emerged as the pièce de résistance, consistently standing out as the highlight of my visits. This culinary masterpiece boasts a consistently delectable flavor profile.

Commendably, the earthen pot employed in serving maintained the optimal temperature throughout, allowing us to relish the piping hot, smoky delicacies from the first bite to the last. A culinary haven where warmth and flavor converge, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

It’s a great place to sit down and get some great food. The service was really great and food was served fast didn’t have to wait long. The food was really good, the best I’ve had in a while when it comes to eating Korean food. The dish sizes were more than I expected in a good way. Only really came for the ramen but glad we tried the other dishes. Got kakuni ramen (below), miso kakuni ramen, sundae, Tteokbokki, naruto bowels, gyoza, chicken bowel. Will be going back soon great place to eat.

This is one of the best restaurants in Auburn and absolute best Korean restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at in Alabama. I recognize genuine Korean flavor and mannerisms due to my upbringing and growing up in South Korea.

The service and food received was top notch and the staff was super friendly. Portion size is huge and the price is very affordable. This is Korean dining done right. My fiancé and I were both very very pleased and amazed with everything your restaurant has to offer.

Amazing chefs, servers, and food here. If you want affordable Korean dining and some of the best service do eat here. Even if you have never tried Korean food I highly recommend going and picking a few items and enjoying the food. You can’t choose a wrong item on their menu. We will be eating here again and again. I look forward to the Korean fried chicken next time

We want to sincerely apologize to a valued guest who recently visited with a service dog. We regret any misunderstanding and want you to know you and your service animal are always welcome. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience during your recent visit to our restaurant. After initially speaking with you, a different table became available, and I personally went out to find you to offer a seat. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate you at that time.

Please know that we truly value you and your service animal, and we would be honored to welcome you back anytime.

The food is ok. I had the okonomiyaki which I have been scouring parts of Alabama for. Fortunately, I found a rendition of it here. The okonomiyaki is a bit much for one person but I would recommend it to others who want an idea of what okonomiyaki tastes like. I suppose it’s Osaka style rather than Hiroshima style as it doesn’t have noodles in it… I think they call it mixed seafood jun too…. They have other Korean dishes that look authentic so if you’re wondering about Korean cuisine in Auburn, I would try here! I saw they have fried chicken with a spicy sauce so that’s my next thing to try.

Broski I had a friend who ordered the bad stuff that’s from here. It was the Seafood pancakes.

If you want to eat the good stuff. Try the main Korean dishes. I tried the Tonkatsu aka Fried pork cutlets and the Bulgolgi Beef Bowl. Both were sooo delicious when I got there.

I almost ate maggots in the stew with kimchi, tofu and pork. I told the waiter about the maggot thing. The chef came out and told me it was a small shrimp. It obviously was not. In addition, they charged the meal. Disappointed
