Very solid place for Korean soups! Gomtang, seolleong tang and Yukgaejang in particular are all very good! You get a good amount of food for how much you are paying. The gimchi and pickled onions that are served on the side are great! I have no complaints about this place, they serve great Korean comfort food, and the food hits hard especially in the winter time when you want a good soup!

Clean and welcoming space.
The Gomtang Delux had a balanced savory flavor with a clean broth as well as thin cuts of tender brisket, chuck roll, and beef heel.
The potato, kimchi, and seafood pancakes each were crispy and tasty in their own way but a bit too greasy.
The kimchi/radish and pickled soy sauce onions pair well with the Gomtang Delux and pancakes.
The Seoulleongtang was light, creamy, and mildly seasoned.

I had a really good lunch today at GomTang jip. I had the Dogani tang which had so much of cartilage. The soup was very authentic
I don’t think I would have to go to nyc to have this soup.
Highly recommend.

Genuinely so delicious. Came on one of the coldest and windiest days of the year so far. The atmosphere was so cozy and warm inside, and the server urged us to take a table further from the door to escape the cold. The gomgtang was delicious and needed no extra seasoning!! So much beef was given and the kimchi/radish kimchi was DELICIOUS. Other reviews say it’s too salty and over seasoned, but it’s meant to be added to the soup and flavor it. It was amazing. The bowls themselves are so beautiful, and it added to the cozy atmosphere! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Potato pancake and cold noodle are great. Suyuk is an excellent choice if u like boiled beef slices. Price is way cheaper than manhattan. Ox tail soup portion is about half compared to Korea. Decent taste. Ask for mustard sauce for those meats.

Our favorite place to get Korean soup! Parking is difficult around here but we have been going for takeout these days and there is a small garage where you can park for short duration.

Oxtail bone broth is very natural tasting . Great atmosphere . Very bland if you’re not used to natural broth. I would definitely recommend . Side dishes were very good .

Love this place. The best Yughejang, Doganitang and Gohmtang in the area. Ahjumuhni who does everything as a waitress & cashier is lovely.

The gomtang (beef bone soup) here is honestly amazing — the broth is so rich and flavorful. That said, the smell when we first walked in wasn’t great, and I noticed they were scooping the ice water from a cooler filled with ice and water, which made me a bit concerned about hygiene. Still, the food itself was really delicious.

I had been looking for a good Korean beef soup since moving to the area and Google lead me to here. It is definitely worth the visit. I ordered the 특곰탕 and enjoyed it. I was surprised the broth was clear. The broth is more like Naju Gomtang, but no complaints from me on that. It wasn’t exactly a Naju style gomtang though as there was no sliced strips of egg or red pepper flakes. I guess this was a hybrid of typical Gomtang and Naju Gomtang. The woman waiting the tables runs around a lot. I have a lot of respect for her doing phone orders, serving all the tables, and even sometimes plating the food. She was also very kind. If you are craving a good beef soup and you are in Palisades Park, I highly recommend.
