Beef noodle soup is a must try!

I really enjoyed the whole experience from the food to the service. Came around 5pm on a Sunday and got sat down immediately. Once we sat they gave us chicken soup/broth that had a chicken foot inside, which might scare some people but I recommend you try it and expand on the foods you eat. It was a great intro to the food we where about to enjoy. Our whole order for 2 people was: garlic cucumber, 2x beef noodle soup, red oil dumplings, passion fruit smoothie, and a Thai tea. Easily star of the show was the beef noodle soup, this rates #1 so far for me when it comes to beef noodle soup. The broth was very hearty, lots of beef, and noodles a tad al dente which is my preferred way to eat them. Red oil dumplings were good but not out of this world, still a nice side dish in the same way the cucumbers were a side dish.

Beef noodles soup 12/10.

Garlic cucumbers 8/10.

Red oil dumplings 8/10.

Drinks 8/10.

I came here for a quick meal and was seriously impressed. The food tastes authentic, portions are generous, and everything was cooked with care.

I ordered the beef noodle soup and the braised pork elbow rice plate, and both dishes were excellent.

Beef Noodle Soup:
The broth was rich and flavorful with that classic Taiwanese depth. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the beef chunks were tender and juicy. Definitely one of the better beef noodle soups I’ve had in the area.

Braised Pork Elbow Rice Plate:
The pork elbow was incredibly tender and full of flavor—melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly braised. The plate came with cabbage, pickled veggies, a marinated egg, and a big serving of rice. Everything paired together really well, and the seasoning was on point.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the food came out fast. If you’re craving Taiwanese comfort food, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

As a Taiwanese person, this is probably the most authentic restaurant Taiwanese food I’ve had in the states. I truly loved every moment of this dining experience.

We started with the complimentary chicken soup, which included goji, chicken feet, vegetables and an absolutely delicious bone broth. This was a perfect beginning to the meal, and had me salivating for everything to come. We got water spinach (37), spicy beef noodles (52) and braised beef rice (51). The braised beef rice was one with water spinach was one of my favorite combos that brought me right back to Taiwan. I loved the depth of the flavor of the meat, and when combined with some light vegetables and an egg, it brought me right back to my childhood. I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes!

The spicy beef noodles was also great, but slightly too oily in my opinion. The noodles were still great and the broth was still delicious and spicy. I think I would try the non-spicy version next time and hope that it’s just slightly less oily, but would still grab this if you’re craving noodle soup!

The serving is humongous. The taste is top rate. It is slightly sweet.

The 58. Braised beef brisket is what I got. I was told it has tendon, but I don’t recall any.

There is limited parking spot at the back.

The food here is DELICIOUS. The rice plates were so good, the meat is super tender and they add pickled veggies and chili peppers. It wasn’t too spicy either. Anything braised here is delicious and I will definitely be back.

Plenty of free parking with their underground parking garage. Big portions and very friendly workers. No reservation needed plenty of seating.

Spicy beef noodle to die for. Broth that warms the soul. Service was fast but it was still piping hot almost like a magic trip. The beef chunks have a little bit of resistance to chew but that’s to my liking. It’s not the style that just simply falls apart in your mouth.

Tried out this little place for dinner and it wasn’t too busy and we were able to be seated right away. This spot is super low key casual and feels like eating at your aunt’s home (especially the door to the second dining area). The servers were kind enough to bring us water with large cups so you don’t have to keep pouring/filling.

FOOD: We ordered the Braised Pork Rice dish with peppers and Braised Beef Noodles soup. I will say that the flavors were not as salty as other places I’ve had, but flavors were not as strong as I’d have liked.
– The beef chunks in the noodle soup were on the tough side but the noodles were soft and soup was pretty tasty.
– The pork cubes with rice was pretty tasty as well. The dish came with a small bowl of soup.

Parking: The lot on site is shared with other establishments so during rush hour it can get pretty packed. But there is an underground parking lot where more spaces can be found.

We had the opportunity to test out this restaurant after a considerable period of time. The cuisine was outstanding. We enjoyed the braised pork rice, braised beef noodle soup, braised beef brisket rice, and braised pork shoulder rice. All the dishes were excellent. We highly recommend ordering their chili sauce. It is excellent for both rice and noodles.
They offer a larger space adjacent to the premises for larger gatherings. Their service is impeccable. They will promptly provide you with water upon your arrival. They are flexible with payment methods, including Google, Apple, and Samsung Pay.
Underground parking may be somewhat limited in the event of an impending arrival of another vehicle. Beyond this, this establishment presents a satisfactory dining experience. We are fully committed to supporting local, small-scale restaurants in Alhambra.

Was trying to find a place for lunch on a random weekday. This place is excellent. Give the small hole in the wall vibe but inside is pretty spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

I will say parking can be difficult but that shouldn’t surprise anyone in the area. Small underground lot if you can’t find anything upstairs

Had the braised beef plate. Big portions, tasty and well braised beef. Veggies on the side were on the saltier side for my liking, but overall I’d get it again.

Got the beef noodle soup as well. I thought the broth could be a littler more “rich”, on the lighter side than I usually like it.

Not pictured but also tried the pork spare rib noodle soup. The spare ribs were tasty and fell off the bone.

Overall enjoyed the food and staff. Would come back again to try some other dishes like the braised pork
