Food is nasty, no flavor and not even hot when it comes right out of kitchen, if you paying average $30 a dish of Cantonese food, you do expect that they can COOK, but so disappointed. Don’t even mention the service. When customer have an issue about the food and service, shouldn’t the so call management try to solve the problem instead of escalate it.

On a separate instance I found egg shell pieces in my noodles that were lacking much flavor. However their management, service and food are truly horrible. Not to mention the establishment is a mess, especially in the rooms. After the owner changed, the place has been on a decline. Booked a room and was kicked out after 10 minutes because of poor management. Confirmed the room in person and on call, was told they’d call back if there was a problem. The establishment is cramped, the rooms are oddly shaped, painting is slobby, the tea kettles are stained disgusting and can be easily scrubbed off with a chopstick scratch inside the kettle, you can tell that the kettle has not been thoroughly cleaned for a long time. There was a pile of salt on the peanuts that are disproportional to the serving of peanuts. If you plan on going here you should definitely take a look inside the rooms before deciding to book.

The food was very good. The hostess was a little pushy for us to order more. Overall was a nice time

Pretty good food. Loved the sweet port chops not sure what’s the actual name. The meats nice and thin, not overdone with breading, sauce is just the right amount. I liked the soup too. A seafood fish belly soup. A pretty enjoyable meal

As someone from New York, I have to say this place is terrible. I had the worst char siu of my life here. The standards are low, and it’s way too noisy. The chef’s skills are seriously lacking. I wouldn’t return, even if it were free. They overload you with rice and give you the smallest, least flavorful cuts of pork. The food was tasteless, and the vegetables seemed like they were a couple of days old—absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs!

This is what I’ve been waiting for. When I called for takeout and then on the phone said that I could come and they would chop it up for me when I come in to pick it up, so it’s nice and fresh. The duck was so juicy & tender. It was beautiful. I’m so glad I don’t have to go to Chinatown to get amazing Chinese bbq. Plus, a lot of those places closed. I can’t wait to try the other things on their menu. If you’re reading this & thinking about where you should eat, try this place because I promise you won’t be disappointed.

A great authentic Cantonese restaurant, with live seafood tanks, round tables for groups, located in north Philly! The food was fresh, very well seasoned and presented in the traditional way.
Gave us memories of living in Hong Kong with the fried dungenous crab. This was a real treat! Thank you!
