The Typhoon Shelter-style fried shrimp has an amazing peppery aroma — the shells are perfectly crispy, and when you bite into them, the fragrance bursts out while the shrimp meat inside stays firm and juicy. The layers of texture are just wonderful.
If you’re tired of plain salads, they also have cooked vegetables here! I especially recommend the dry-fried string beans. They’re wok-fried over high heat and mixed with fermented black beans and chicken, creating a rich, savory flavor that’s absolutely addictive.

I ordered the iron plate beef, which was incredibly tender, served sizzling hot, and packed with authentic flavors (especially the ginger, which gave it a wonderful aroma!). The Guangzhou-style fried rice was exactly how it should be—fried until dry (not sticky at all), with fresh and crisp vegetables that added a perfect crunch. I also tried a tofu dish recommended by the owner, which was beautifully cooked, and the garlic vegetables, hands down the best veg dish I’ve had in Marrakesh.
It’s impressive how they manage to maintain such authenticity, especially considering how hard it must be to source the right sauces and ingredients in Morocco. The quality and taste make it great value for money, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving real Cantonese flavors.
