This was a PHENOMENAL spot. My family and I came to visit for our first time… this was an 11/10 for us!! The staff was very friendly and amazing to accommodate with our baby. They were knowledgeable for both the traditional Asian and American menus. Our waitress suggested wonderful dishes and we had MORE than enough food with leftovers. Our appetizers came out instantly and our main dishes were piping hot and huge portions. We loved the flavors and the overall bill was much cheaper than we were expecting. The overall energy and vibe was welcoming and friendly – even with a full house. We cannot wait to come back!

Just found my new favorite Asian restaurant in Columbus! The food was awesome, I don’t think we had a single thing that we didn’t absolutely love. I don’t remember our waiters name but she was lovely. She was friendly, patient and made great recommendations despite having a fully booked dining room with a line at the door. Can’t wait to go back!

I hate going for professional development days, but worth it when I get to go to Fiery Sky for lunch! My girls and I have ordered off of both the American and traditional menus, and I can say that they’re both fantastic! My friends are very tame in their tastes, so the usual suspects like Pork with Vegetables, Rangoon, and Noodles are done to perfection! I personally like to go off script and had the Dry Pot Pork Ribs and the Sliced Beef Belly in Pickle Soup from the traditional menu and it was absolutely delightful! I really wanted to try the chicken feet as they’re my fave, but they were out.
But with huge portions, and service that is attentive but not pushy at lunch, can’t be beat!

There’s plenty of free parking in the plaza and a decent amount of seating inside! The restaurant is welcoming, cozy, and lively.

We love trying something new each time because everything we’ve gotten has been delicious. We really like their Twice Cooked Pork Belly, their Wide Noodles, Eggplant and Green beans, and their apps, we love their Spicy Wontons and Salt and Pepper Chicken. There’s nothing that we haven’t enjoyed getting. All the food is flavorful, made with quality, and fresh. You will walk away full and with a delicious meal. Their portions are pretty big and we usually have leftovers when we order two entrees for two people.

Staff is super nice and so kind. They’re so accommodating and will recommend dishes if you need help picking. The servers are patient and helpful, they are so nice!

I recommend for an authentic meal, a delicious flavorful experience, and to try all their dishes. Great place for a family meal, small groups, and casual hangouts.

Chinese restaurant with authentic flavors, trending towards SPICY so be careful! Good service and clean interior.

WHAT WE ATE:
• Yu-Xiang Flavored Eggplant
• Fish Fillets in Pickled Soup
• Stinky Tofu w/ Pork Intestine
• Braised Beef Brisket w/ Curry Sauce

My favorite of these dishes was actually the stinky tofu with pork intestine! Least favorite was the beef with curry sauce as it was quite mild in flavor.

Other notes: The eggplant tasted different than what is typical of that dish name.

The pickled soup was tasty but super sour –definitely could be diluted down some with more water or eaten with rice.

I’m on the fence on whether I really like this spot or not. I was greeted once I walked in. The customer service was OK nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about either. I was seated and given water fairly quickly, as well as my server taking my order. What took the longest about 25 to 30 minutes was actually receiving my food. If I have to wait for my food and it’s delivered hot and fresh even though the weight might be long it sometimes is worth it. However, my food came, and it was on the warmer side of lukewarm, but not piping hot and fresh. When I first arrived, it was like a steady pace of patrons dining. It wasn’t super busy nor was it slow. On top of that, the food didn’t invigorate me as I expected. The Sichuan dumplings were a tad heavy on the soy, but it was an OK dish. The star of the show was the Chongqing popcorn chicken. It had originality, flavor, and a numbing tingling sensation that the Sichuan brought forth. Would I revisit this spot? Not like likely I think it’s more of a one and done type of thing, especially since the food didn’t hit the marks I needed it too.

This place is incredible. I haven’t had this good of a dining experience in forever. There were so many fantastic options on the authentic Chinese menu it was hard to decide what to order. The cucumber salad and crab rangoons were the best I’ve ever had and the sliced lamb pickle soup was this amazing combo of sour, spicy, and fresh. I’m a big fan of stir fried eggplant and their version qas excellent. Go try it out!

I go out to eat quite often, but it’s still not every day that I am blown away. And I was tonight by Fiery Sky Asian Kitchen. With a traditional menu and Americanized menu, they have something for everyone. Had my first century egg, which was creamy and earthy. Top notch egg drop soup. Shrimp dumplings. Absolutely stellar beef with hu nan chile sauce. Crazy good general tso’s chicken, with a slight licorice flavor. They were slammed and the service was busting their butts to make sure you had what you need. Highly highly recommend. Keep in mind that I like a lot of spice and creative flavors ☺️
